If you keep doing the feed/flush thing, you will kill them. I don't know how people got on this kind of kick but it needs to stop. You wouldn't feed/flush any other plant, so don't do it for this one (unless you know you over ferted, which should be avoided anyway).

Purple veins are something I've found common in a lot of plants not just cannabis. Even given a full line of nutrients there isn't much of improvement in my trials...maybe some are meant to have such veins?

Wait, aside from a PH problem, whish it sounds like was addressed, what are the purple stems doing to cause harm. I know it's not the preferred color but how do the leaves look? what stage?

if it was normal it wouldn't fade slow growth and quality and yeild of overall harvest i care more bout quality I know its an issue but not sure if its MG issue anymore as even when i do up a Epsom salt spray it doesn't clear it so I'm thinking a k or a p issue but the nutes I'm using have a good rep which only leaves me with a few other outcomes aka me

I started using armour si, any plant silica should help though, the silica helps plants deal with all stress better, mine used to show a little purp stem from cold in veg, but that seemed to end after the add, no real difference in plant growth rates that I've noticed, just thicker and greener stems:peace:

What bout all this stuff to do with lowering ph to below 7 i also use superthrive for b vits and stress reliever.

You adjust the pH last, even with si in the water, silica first, then nutes, then pH, then apply, pretty simple really

yeah of course but you also have to bring down the ph after adding sili as it can react and lock out Ca from what I've read,
Again, you just do what you normally would, the mix will read higher than normal, but you ph down it after you have finished mixing everything, just like you always would, not sure what you are getting at?

Even without silica you would ph up or down after you mix in your nutes.....

I had this issue. Or what I thought was an issue. I revegged one of my old favorites. Ever since it revegged the leaf stems were purple. I tried everything! From flushing to changing medium mid veg. I even put one outside in the sun. That worked. But she got bugs. Then I tried a different light setup. I used CFL, led, and hps. All separate and each time purple stems. I was running my nutes at 1/4 strength. Now I'm on a different strain and guess what....no purple stems. I wouldn't worry.

read the links bud It seems that you have been using silicon incorrectly ....

SILICIC ACID
Silicic acid is a weak acid that forms when Shogun Silicon is dissolved in water. It exists as this in solutions with a pH less than 7. Above 7, it dissociates into the silicate anion that can react with Calcium and Magnesium to cause nutrient solution clouding (see below on how important correct mixing is!).

Stable silicic acid in your nutrient solution can have a number of positive effects…

CORRECT MIXING IS ESSENTIAL!
If you want to see all of the benefits that SHOGUN Silicon can offer then it’s essential that you mix your solution correctly (as outlined in the above mixing instructions). If you don’t follow this order – for example if you add your nutirnets to the tank first and then add concentrated SHOGUN Silicon without adjusting your pH then you will see a plume of cloudy liquid appear as you add the Silicon. This will rapidly dissipate, but you’ve immediately lost some of the benefits of Silicic Acid (above) and have cause some of the Calcium and Magnesium in your solution to precipitate and “drop out” of solution. This is not a great idea and is very easily avoidable by adding your Silicon FIRST to plain water and then adjusting your pH to below 7 before adding your nutrients. The key point to recognize is that the pH cannot be above 7 when the Silicon and nutrients make contact. Follow this golden rule and your SHOGUN Silicon benefits will remain maximised.

If you put outside aka sun a saw a difference i would say it's a heat issue they can get purple stems if they are to cold I know i haven't got this as my room is on point but like you said you started to see a difference just food for thought. I know some people that will put ice over the top of their medium to make there buds go purple when it's not gentical meant to dop this I've never tired this but have heard of it nor have i ever smoked purple bud yet...

P.s these are 4 gen clones purple isn't normal for them or for any plant that isn't a purple strain the only link to a purple this one has is its name lol
