New set up

Thanks so much everybody for sharing all the good towns and places to check out while we were up in maine had a great time.Keeping our fingers crossed for this place we love It's going to be a tough journey but we will make it and finally be able help people out in a state that will let us. 😄

Ok I've got the idea now just need to put it all together
if all goes well i will be a resident of maine in a couple months and decided to start off with a 4000watt flower room for 5 patients using dwc bubble buckets I built plus use my dr120 4x4x6.5 under 400 watt mh for mothers
dr60 2x2x5 under t5's for clones
the first thing I need to do is upgrade electrical in the house so stay tuned

I believe you could keep mothers going with T5s.

Yeah but the t5s I have are only 2x2 for my little dr60 tent and ezclone

4000 watts! Yee Haa. You'll be able to keep mothers under T5 just fine.

Ok here we go i am going to get two t5's 8 bulbs in each for my veg tent which will be 4x4 tight fit but perfect will have 400 watt metal halide as spare
I've found sometimes the hid can be intense with young plants/clones in veg they react great to cfl and flouros so that's my idea for veg just have to get the room the power it needs for 4000watts of his for flower lol

If you have or will get digital ballasts for the HID, you can get the juice to the grow room more efficiently with 220.

Yea that's what I would like to do tet the house only has 100 amp box and I am electrically illiterate this will be my obstical might have to get electrician

220 is volts. the house has it. But yeah, get an electrician.

Does your MH balast dim?

No it's a digital greenhouse 400 watt I have both mh and hps for it and open hood it came with

If you want/need you can borrow it once I'm moved up there

no I'm all set I was just going to suggest you turn the ballast down for seedlings. Thank you for the offer though

Yeah no prob I was thinking to veg under the t5's In tiny 1 gallon smart pots then move under 1k mh when they outgrow the 4x4 tent at that point transplant till about 2-3 ft tall in the new smart pots depending if hydro or organic if soil 20 gallon smart pots or my 5 gal dwc and then flower thinking 20 plants will be enough
I am really into doing more with organics lately and may do half in soil half in water or 5 out of 20 in soil with smart pots.

Did some outside stuff with VIC's supersoil recipe. I'm a believer.

I am going to use subcools super soil with ffof instead of roots and some changes by incorporating more coco and some different amendments can't wait to do a journal on my organic grow as well as my dwc prob be moved in the new place soon I have alot of nice strains to grow out 😄

Also. not sure if you found a location, but west of Biddo and anywhere south west of htat is decent property, rural and at the right price.

Thanks sbirch yeah found a place just waiting on that now but all is going well with it I'm sure it will be quite a few months from what I've been reading here before I get my care giver card but will def keep that in mind when getting more equipment and am up and going with what I have 😄
