new setup ,1st time grower, give me some tips

im using 2 75 watt daylight cfls. They put out 5500k each. Im using these for veg and then ill use 2700 k for flower. the area is pretty small so im growing dwarf plants. Im a new grower so any tips will be appreciated. :leaf::leaf::leaf::-P

Looks like a good start man... How big is that space? Looks like about 18x18?? Your lights should do u just right for the area ur using!:-P Only ti p i got is that if that is aluminum foil then it should be removed.... Its no good at reflecting and it could cause your plants to burn.. Anythin white like paint or printer paper would be better or if u wanna go all out u can pick up a myar emergency blanket at walmart for like 5 bucks:weed: Good luck man i be haning out for this one

My suggestion would be to place the lights closer (3 inches). Replace the aluminum foil with Mylar. Instead of buying Mylar just go to Walmart and purchase a few emergency blankets which are made out of Mylar. They run about $2 each and you would only need 1 for that space.

You should also get some airflow through there. You can use computer fans wired to an AC adaptor or you could do what I do now instead of computer fans and use regular fans. I found a few 6 inch fans at walmart for $7 each that have been great.
