new setup

looking into upgrading from my 2x2x4 cab that i run 500w cfl's in.
keep temps at 77-82 now exhausting into the room i am growing.

i am looking at a lighthouse 4x2x5 tent. with a apollo 600w mh/hps switchable dimmable ballast with cooltube.
i have a 240cfm panasonic whisperline fan with a 12 inch carbon filter.
will be changing from exhausting into room to outdoors to combat heat a bit more and try to keep temps 73-79.

anyone foreseeing me needing anything else.

Id get a higher cfm fan than the 240 one. also you can get away with a 6" carbon filter.

As for the tent, id go with a 3x3 or 4x4 so you can get a more even dispersion.

bigger tent and more lights .

haha thanks i guess i won't get a tent just turn my whole house into a grow op.
well its a 6 inch carbon filter that is 12 inches long.
the 240 cfm is what i have so i will upgrade if need be.
my total exhaust length to outdoor will be 5-8 feet with 2 90's.
i don't have a choice in tent size that is what will fit discreetly in my only closet that is an option to grow.
unless i ban everybody from my house like i said and go full blown grow but just not gonna happen.

Got you. Well it will be a little hard to keep it cool in there with that much power. Id go with a 400w so itll be easier to control heat.

other than that sounds good. i run apollo ballast's and they are pretty solid. 240 CFM should be fine...monotor temps if they get too high get a better fan.

a 400w light would be sufficient for a 2x4 tent. but more light is never a bad thing..

i know a 400w would suffice. but for 20 bucks more i can get a 600w dimmable ballast and run it at 50% or 75%.
just in case in the future i happen to need the extra power.

why not exhaust outside?
