i took 2 clones using just water. one small and one big (about 3 nodes) this was about 3 days ago

by question is : is it normal for the stem to curve slightly.. i think it is because the plant is stretchng for light but not sure i rotated the plants 180* we'll see what happens. also the very end of the stem is turning a little bit brown is this normal???

check my lil one https://www.rollitup.org/grow-journals/141318-winter-indoor-outdoor-2x-400w.html

It's normal for clones to droop a bit for a few days...they should perk up soon. The stem though should not be going brown...means it's getting rotted...replace the water everyday, and stir it a few times a day to keep it oxygenated.

what type of light are you using? Make sure its not too far away. Make sure your plants have good humidity 90-100%. you can get like a humidity dome thingy at like any gardening center for like 5 bucks.

That method is widely used...as it does produce roots, often though using hormone gels just helps speed up the process...if it's going to root...it'll do it just in water.
