New to growing. Seedling in gardening soil.

I germinated a seed and placed it in some garden soil about 2 days ago. The soil seems to be staying rather wet. Since gardening soil is more dense + the moisture of the soil will my seedling struggle or should it be ok? Should I do something to dry it out a bit? It just seems like it's probably not breathing well.

I suggest planting more if it is feminized or not! Plant TWO MORE and grow some for a friend! In all seriousness it is wiser to plant extras and cull the weak.

No, it's bagseed from some pretty good stuff. Not sure of the strain. Yeah I'm trying to get some more seeds I'm gonna plant about 8-10. I dug this up yesterday and the sprout got longer growing downwards into the soil. Is this normal? I'm not sure of the specifics of how they start. Anyone I tried to carefully move it into some new/dryer soil. I hope I didn't kill it. I guess we'll see

what kind of soil did you put it in? i finally figured out my soil mixture for when my plant is big enough to move to in ground, but i dunno what soil i should put it in as a seedling.

it says feeds up to 9 months...but it grew about an inch long so I guess it was working but I'm almost positive the moisture content of the soil was inhibiting it from coming up in 2-3 days....it's been like 4 since the beginning now it's in new/dryer soil
