I know the basics of planting, but ive never grown indoors. I have grown outdoors but had stunting issues so ive decided to move it indoors. Im not interested in buying anything special to grow anything special. I just want some good homegrown. Any advice or ideas for a cheap budget?

CFLs, soil, couple basic fertilers ( one higher in N & P, the other in P & K (grow/ bloom), cheap soil & water ph testers, some ph up/ down, and your off :bigjoint:

Check out my journal, that will give you some ideas :leaf:

i'm an old time outside grower that came indoors too
one good grow so far
the 1st trouble i had was using a pre-fertilized soil(MGMC)
these cheap soils can work well(or so some say), but if you use them, watch out for over watering
strange as it sounds, too much water + preferted soil = cooked plant

Yeah, those time released fertilizer soils are one to stay away from. Nothing but trouble there. Schultz's Cactus Potting Soil is a good one you can buy off the shelf sometimes. That was my favorite until I expanded the op. They only come in the small bags so 50 gal. of soil would've been pretty expensive.
