Hi all, I'm new to soil I'm used to hydro. I want to know what soil can I use that would be perfect for my plants. I'm probably going to get Fox Farm Ocean Forest and use it throughout the entire grow. However, I'm keeping the budget low on this grow, starting with 2-3 seedlings, I'm using CFLs due to the fact it's small and I sold my HPS/MH set. So please let me know of any other soil mixes sold in stores and nurseries that would also be good to use as Fox Farm may not be available near me.

Also, nutes, would it be alright to get maybe one or 2 of the nutes in the Fox Farm line? Know of any other nutes I could use?

grow, and tiger.

I also use Alaskan fish nutes, and Alaskan bloom. Which can be found at any Lowes or Homedepot for fish, as my Homedepot don't carry the bloom?

Yeah, mine doesn't carry any Fox Farm products, only one store somewhat close to me but I have the slightest idea of how much the price is running at over there. I read somewhere that I should just buy soil, perlite, and peat moss, and mix evenly. But, I think I'm going to order those Fox Farm nutes you mentioned, should I start using them a month in or when did you start feeding your plants those?

you can't give them much fertilizer in seedling growth but with good soil I would not put any nutes for the first 3 weeks then start off slow because theres a lot of nutes in the soil you plan on you using and you don't want nute burn a little less is better than too much
