New to this...Pots or ground.

I've been growing indoors for a few years now, I would like to do an outdoor grow.
Any opinions on planting in the ground vs. pots.
Also I have access to several different outdoor strains. My plan is to pull down a half pound per plant. Is this do-able? Peace.

Ground more space for roots pots more control over soil condition. They both have upsides and down sides I go in ground personally.
