new why cant i get some help with how to post pics and links

i need help with post pics nobody wants to view anything if theres no pics. yes i know its proably not hard at all but i cant post on the thread just does the box that doesnt open. its driving me crazy i want to show my grow.

Okay, you will need to make your pics no larger than 800x600 jpeg. Resize and save to ur desktop and then go to post and hit attachments.... that should work. If you want to post a full size pic, then u need to upload to the internet first...like photobucket, etc.

I'll help u bro, just click on the Go Advanced then close to the bottom of the page go to manage attachments and choose the picture files that you want to post. or if you have the image in a web album then you can copy and paste the photo link in the insert image tab.

First open up a DOS prompt.
Then type ADVNCDIMAGEEDTOR.BAT
When the window comes up hit HZ1 then hold F2 and END at the same time for 12 seconds
After 12 additional seconds, reboot the computer and double-click your first image
After the mandatory splash screen (make sure you read the EULA and click 'Accept'), double click 'File/Images/{C2-3838477GF34kKMN}'
After triple-clicking the above mentioned key, enter your world wide web browser software for the internet
Enter your passcode for the webnet: 'BILLYJOALRULZ4LIFE'
Once your interwebnets browser software launches to it's home directory page (hppt://www.rollitup.org/) and hit the 'Attachments' link on the post page
Make sure you CLOSE your browserweb from the internets when your session is complete as your long-distance bill may be VERY high after all that usage

I'm making this post after reading a "how do I start a new thread?" question for the millionth time. I kinda meant it as a joke, but who knows, maybe it'll help someone.

Ok, so, starting at the RIU homepage....



Pick the forum that your thread should go in. We're picking Newbie Central.



Click the New Thread button at the top left.



Screw it, while I'm at it I'll cover how to post pics, lol. Either click the Manage Attachments button, or if you have the photos on the web like photobucket, just post the link between the " " tags in your post. These pics will show up IN the post, like the example pics I'm using.



When you click the Manage Attachments button, a new window like this should come up. You can either upload the pics from your computer, or you can upload them from a URL. These pics will appear as thumbnails at the buttom of your post that people can click on to enlarge.

Once you're done you can Preview Post to make sure it looks right. Then Submit New Thread and let's smoke!
