I chopped a hashberry yesterday because of the rain.. she was very close to being done anyway. Monster colas made for some mold here and there but overall it looks pretty good. Yeah man i hear you about wanting to chop some off... had that problem last year. I have some indoor that just finished up and now this hashberry so i should be able to control myself haha

Mine got rained to shit today in NY. Hoping they dont mold on me. Was out in the rain alot today making sure they didnt get to bad. Was having to shake them off alot. How tedious..

yeah one of my other spots that is all buckets really needed the rain so i didnt mind. I will be sure to go and give them a shake tomorrow to get rid of some water. Im thinking about getting a leaf blower.. ive seen a couple people say they use them to help dry out the buds after rain.

Damn, there's more NY'ers in here than I thought. What's up NY?!? St. Lawrence County representin'! Hurry the fuck up October. Lol. When do y'all start getting frosts? I hear it's crazy different depending where in NY you are. I know we're up above the snow belt (damn St. Lawrence River!), and so we get ours around the first week in October, usually. But with it being a warmer year, thus far, I wonder if it will come later.

it's all about september/october, but i think the chances are good for a fine NY outdoor harvest
NOAA, who does the long term weather forecasts, is showing above average temps in the northeast for a LONG time
i like it, DEA busts our butts, but another federal agency helps us time out crop, your government at work

oh yea, quite a few. heres a few of mine about a week ago. unfortunately watered a bunch heavy today not knowing it was gonna rain so hard. and the rains came rite after. have a few a good 5 weeks in now, gonna have to check them down in the coming days for any mold. hopefully tomorrow will be sunny with a good breeze to dry them girls off,

well fml RIP MK ULTRA, half the FCJ, and half the CHEESE. The rain tonight was to much i guess and weighed them down until they snapped. Sad sad night. I did what i could with the rest.. will be going back in the day to see what else i need to do to make sure this bullshit doesnt happen again

I lost all mine in the storm a couple nights ago. Fucking bullshit. Anyway to prevent it happening next year? Topping them? I saw some photos where the guy anchored them to the ground with tent pegs ang nylon string? Any thoughts?

Fellow NY'er here, just tried outdoor this year with horrible luck. I tried some out in the woods but the drought ruined them since I couldn't nearly water as much as they needed. I put some out LATE like late august, so Im hoping for some late season stuff. I have a couple in a soy bean field(it was the easiest to get to) and one is doing phenomenal for being late! Its a grape diesel and my others are haleys comet, blue widow(not a good outdoor) and I'm gonna start bubblegum indoors after my grape diesel is harvested in a month or 2.

Next year, I hope the farmer does corn instead of soy so I can have some better luck. Because of the the bugs, deer and drought this year, I wont have a big harvest at all. I'm glad other NY'ers are having such good luck! Too bad we couldnt have a NY guerilla grow meetup to sample each others work!

sounds like another gut wrenching NY outdoor season
i knew some bad shit was going down when that one nasty storm front went across the whole state!
but this is why the thrill of outdoor growing here is so high, the odds are stacked against you, when a great plant happens it's a rush of its own

agreed growone.. I always expect problems. It wouldnt be ny guerilla without some problems along the way. Wish it wasnt one of my big girls that had her life tragically ended shortly, but it is what it is. Had another nice little storm today, but everything seems to be fine. Its getting close to my favorite time of the year! Better than Christmas. Whos got some recent pics of their ladies??
