I'm gonna be checking out the colloidal silver method of taking two female clones of the same strain, spraying one with colloidal silver (pure silver rods are on trademe for $30)
for the first two weeks of flower to get it to produce pollen and pollinating the girl that hasn't been sprayed. $30 experiment to see if i can get copy's of a strain, i'll probably
stick with cloning though.

I always keep my orders under 15 for piece of mind and my last order was over $100, how much did 50 set you back?
hey there, I grabbed a couple of them silver rods off TM. im on day 14 of spraying doing twice a day now as theyr trying hard to bud. hopefully another week and they be turning. easy to make and if you are going to treat a whole plant youll need more the 1 of those bottles CK suggested. and the stuff you can buy I have been told still degrades fairly quick. remember to store in a dark place

I gotta back Dankdope on the CS thing. Way too easy to make it at home. Silver, 9 volt battery, and two wires will give you many years of breeding Fem seeds. $30 got me a couple feet of 14G wire. I have no idea how long it will last.

Loving the photos guys. Keep up the good work!

Hi Crazy Kiwi

Fifty seeds cost me 350 euro approx. and then with the discount code which is the word 'herbies' I got a discount. It was about $500 Aud. I have a girlfriend problem in my house which is why I m unable to clone.

Ordering small numbers is a wise move.

I am about to order some might Durban X Pakistani Kush from highrise seeds at the royal Canadian marijuana collective and I have asked for no freebies and to have them send it out in 2 different packages. Ordering 50 seeds of that feminzed strain as well.
oh yeah the discounts awesome ay, doesn't she like you growing or something?.

yeah mate you're really keen to be ordering large amounts into Australia, they have tight customs and have harsh nazi laws like NZ. be careful on how many you put in the same area - if it looks commercial they will convict you. that durban x pck sounds amazing man, you'll get some purple for sure!. hmm maybe get less seeds on this order, you should get some regular seeds for breeding - Malawi would be good use as a male because of the dominating influence the males have and you'll have australian adapted seeds to play with next year. Thinnest leaves I've seen on the malawi mother. you could germinate a tashkent seed now and throw it outdoors now to get some smoke, I'm sure aussie weather will still finish it off.

Dankdope - I've only used 15ml of colloidal silver for my Malawi clone over the last 3 weeks, it's changing into a reversed female with some visible male preflowers. The hairs are dying off and turning brown, I've only been spaying it once every 2 days - 50ppm must do the trick well?. This is my first time with colloidal silver so I'm taking it the 'easy' way until I learn how to make it myself. Man I'm keen to see your plants, that Afghani will be a monster I reckon. the one I had stretched at least 2x in flower, massive buds too.

Hi Crazy Kiwi:

I don't have the ability to grow clones so I am going to grow from seed. That's why I ordered fifty of them. You know what would work great with these fabric grow pots? Redsign the geo pot so it can hold a decent size bag of coco coir and then be able to be strung up to the side of a tree. If we could ladder these plants up the sides of trees then the critters wouldn't get to them. Redesign the fabric pots!
i like this idea a lot. if you know anyone in the construction industry ask them to grab you some biddam or geo'fab. they will know what you mean. you can make the fabric pots out of that stuff and you could cut the pieces any size and shape you want.

4 weeks 12/12

there may be a herm in the mix somewhere here. its a little early to see the hairs browning off as you can see in the pic and i suspect she is pollinated? i have scoured and scoured but i cant find any culprit male flowers so im not sure i will pull them right out of the tent on friday and go over them branch by branch and see if my fears are warranted or maybe shes just an early finisher?

oh and the cutting i stuck in the aquaponics is already starting to show new growth i suspect she will take off in no time at all.

and my other collection of keeper cuts

woo im excited. I think my frisian bud is gonna be purple. no real bud formation yet but a random few of the white hairs have a slight purple tinge to them :D is that how it starts?

aussie,

I have the same problem too mate, premature browning on all my plants for some reason. but it doesn't look like they've been pollinated.

The Malawi clone has full on male 'balls' now, have only been spraying once every 2 days. perfect timing for outdoor pollination in 2 months.

janicethewhite - how many hairs per node/preflower so far?, my afghan usually had a few hairs by now. magenta coloured hairs.

hey CK, you got any pics of your CS treated plant? mine took ages to start making flowers now they are finaly starting to look a little bit different have been spraying once a day for 17days so far hairs are browning and buds look slightly different my CS is only 35ppm might take a bit longer maybe? did you do he whole plant or jut a branch? ive treated 2 whole plants about 18inch tall used 600ml so far theye got 10-12 branches each doing melon gum and aurora have 2 of each to pollinate might do a cross between them to see if I can get a mix of aurora potency with melon gum yield.

CS is rediculosly easy to make.

IMG-20140118-00240.jpg sorry for bad pic but you can see the male flowers? still have female flowers trying to push through. Yeah you're CS is definitely working, it only takes a few days from the hairs turning brown to show visible male flowers. I've only used under 20ml so far. Will pollinate this back onto itself outdoors and Tashkenti because of its immense resin production, hmm what about a Panama red pheno? might have to cross it onto that too. Aurora indica?

Cheers for that CK, I had a close look at them last night and the melon gum has very small male flowers now and the aurora looks to be a few days behind, can I stop spraying now or does it pay to keep using for a da or 2? and yep its Aurora Indica nice stuff fairly potent too will be interesting what a cross comes out like, I just want plenty of seeds for next year I find they have much more vigour then clones and no damn clones going to bud then revegging if theyre slightly shaded or too many overcast days.
Ive also got an outdoors skunk no1 male ad female so will pollinate a branch or 2 from that as well.

Hey guys! Hows everyone's plants?
Just been camping for the past few days. Had pretty good weather, rain at night and sun during the day. Got a 28 -29 degrees the other day and and a 27 - 28 today. Ill put an update of my plant up tomorrow :bigjoint:

its not letting me upload pics for some reason. took some pics of frisian preflowers today they are coming along nicely. couple of bud sites have a few trichromes and stickyness in the last couple days.

Hey man, keep spraying the plants until they are fully into flower with no chance of coming back - the try hard to push hairs out for awhile. The skunk#1 should be good, what seedbank?.

malawi1.jpgmalwi2.jpgmalwi3.jpg Malawi 4 ft or more. Really loving this beast
panama.jpgPanamas starting to bush out heaps. this plant is going to be massive in height. 38 days veg outdoors
taskent.jpgTashkent, 1.5 weeks since planting. this is definitely the latest I've planted, I've never put plants out in january.

What do you guys reckon? The weather could be better but there's still solid growth. Apparently there's a cyclone 200 kms away bringing some good rain over the next few days.
hot as day today, probably 26 or more.

Great pics man. What other strains would you suggest to me from herbies? Do they have malawi or panama? Or something else that's wickedd?

You said you were getting some balls on your plants? Is that b/c of stress or did you do something to make it hermie?

Was it dank dope that said he/she liked my idea for grow bags that can be fastened to trees? Cheers man.

Speak to you soon,

Buckets

thanks bro, Destroyer from cannabiogen is a real good strain along with Malawi and Panama - all 3 extremely potent. Orient express is a happy sativa f1, it's a chinese yunnan indica and a vietnamese black sativa that has a high yield too.

I'm spraying a clone with colloidal silver to make female pollen for the taskenti outside.

Looks like the frisian is a couple weeks into flower, if not more. whats your guess for the harvest date?.
