how much liquid are you dumping in there per feeding?T
The plants are like 30-40 cm tall as i lst'd them abit
Temps stay between 23 and 27.5c° humidity between 40-60
Lights on 24-7
180 watt diy 3000k cob and 125w 6400k cfl
whats your ec and ph going in and whats the ec and ph in the run off? when in doubt give it a good flush @ 5.8 then wait 24 hrs, feed only once per day and watch your new growth.T

No i started with compost chicken shit kelp and other amendments.. switched to coco as saw a friends explosive growth.. so 1st time using coco and 1st time with floranova bloomhow much liquid are you dumping in there per feeding?
have you grown successfully using the exact setup that your using now before trying coco, the coco is the only change?
if you dont have a way of measuring your ec then why are you feeding it twice a day? you prob have a build up of unused nutes in your coco, flush it and wait 24hrs then only feed once a day.I ph to between 5.8-6.2 i dont have ec or ppm meter but i have never went over 1/4 strength
u have that in flower? rainwater? tap is fine if its drinkableFloranova bloom is 4-8-7 and supposedly at 8ml gal is the lucas formula
Although i am using tap
Would it be better to use rain water instead for lower ppm
just looked at your other pics and yes she is in flowerFloranova bloom is 4-8-7 and supposedly at 8ml gal is the lucas formula

Tap water is fine if it's 250ppm or under. If you have super hard water...your ice cubes will look very cloudy.tap is fine if its drinkable
I am feeding twice a day because the pot is dry by then and was under the empression that i had to feed every wateringif you dont have a way of measuring your ec then why are you feeding it twice a day? you prob have a build up of unused nutes in your coco, flush it and wait 24hrs then only feed once a day.
ps get an ec pen. whats the ph in ur runoff?
u beleive that negative ionic pressure hype or it causes stress? i flush with 0ppm once every 10 days in flower and every 3 days in veg, never had an issue.Mrherbal,
I'm not sure why bottletoke is pushing you to flush. At those low feedings and an occasional watering to runoff...you should be OK. And you know to never give just water? Bad idea in coco. .

But what about the tip burn?? Or is that not a problem?Mrherbal,
I'm not sure why bottletoke is pushing you to flush. At those low feedings and an occasional watering to runoff...you should be OK. And you know to never give just water? Bad idea in coco. I know you are paranoid about overfeeding...but if you increase the strength slowly...you'll be ok. You can safely bump up nutes from where you're at.
Just a comment about your old abandoned plants that you are allowing to die. Weak plants are easily infested with bugs or even disease...that could spread to your healthy plants. So either cut them and clean up the area or care for them. You might learn something trying to help them.

I didn't see any tip burn. Yellowing is not nute burn. If you bump up your nutrients slowly...you will see a darkening of the green way before tip burn. And if you do get tip burn (necrosis) just back off and carry on.But what about the tip burn??
Hi bottletoke...we make a great effort to presoak coco with the proper cations (ca and mg) but flushing with zero ppm water will undo all that. That being said...I've seen experienced growers flush with just tap water if it has some minerals in it. But def not RO water.u beleive that negative ionic pressure hype or it causes stress? i flush with 0ppm once every 10 days in flower and every 3 days in veg, never had an issue.
Ps, whos that in ur avatar?
Unless you are a coco grower master you need this.I dont have ec or ppm metre
yes...(I'm gonna pm you about this)Surely if i keep nutes low and make sure i have sufficient runnoff every watering then that should stop salt build up shouldnt it..
Yes it will but you will also get small plants and smaller yields, plus more problems than feeding proper strength.Surely if i keep nutes low and make sure i have sufficient runnoff every watering then that should stop salt build up shouldnt it..
