NEWB needs HELP!!

Hello all, i hope someone can help me out here. Ive got 5 master kush seeds germed and in solo cups with a mixture of FF light warrior, FF ocean forest and broken down leaf compost. Now 1 of the 4 is standing nice and tall the others broke soil and then bent at a 90* angle and still have the outer casing half way on. can i put them under a 75W fluorescent to help influence this precious baby in the right direction? is this way to early for lights?

It's never too early for low intensity lights. the only time i don't have lights on my plants are when the seeds are in a paper towel germinating. be careful how wet you keep the top of your soil, if its too wet it can cause the stem to get weak and wither right at the ground, i only think of that because i lost about 6 pepper seedlings last night to it and i have had it happen to weed seedlings b4.

Thanks justin, but what should i do about the ones that are bent over? just wait and see what happens with the light?

Just an update the lights helped turn these babies around and start growing nice! I'll update with pictures later today

It's not uncommon for seedlings to fall over. I like to use the large 32oz Styrofoam cups and fill them about 3/4 full, that way when the seedlings stretches you can bury the stem.

If the seed shell that is stuck on is drying out try dripping water on it, see if you can get a bead to sit on the shell.

Also the plants are starting to stretch out a lot should I add a little more compost to ensure sturdyness or what should I do

Nice save! You might make sure you have tweezers and an Xacto knife handy...and a very light touch, too.

So I'm having trouble uploading pictures ATM but one of the MK babies are getting really spindly and starting to bend over even with light.these babies are only a week old and probably 6" ..is this too early to transplant into bigger pots and start to harden them for the outdoors? Plz help anyone

already 6" at 1 week old?! That says you need MORE light, whatever you are using now put it less than 1" from the plant. You definitely need more light, and yes bury the stems some to give it some support.

Also I would wait a few more days to transplant, just my opinion but you could transfer now if you are getting antsy lol
