My mistake then, I didnt relize he was doing light dep.

Commercial growers who do this should move to a better climate..lol. So much veg time wasted.
I don't think he is, worried it won't finish on time, thought he may want to check it out, and it's not a waste of veg time, its a way of controlling when you harvest so that you can bring a finished product to market in lean times rather than during a flooded market effectively bartering a higher price lol, but in my instance it was used to grow in a short season north east american climate, we don't all get those nice long fall seasons with sub freezing nights and hybrids don't always finish in 9 weeks

I'd use it all the way through.
I can't really recommend any feed for you as I wouldn't know what your local shops might stock.
I'd be light years away from you lol lol
Perhaps someone else might chip in?
I actually just came from the shop and grabbed an Organic all purpose plant food (I couldn't find that specific tomato plant food, but it seems to be a 2-2-2 (?) mixture (not positive if that's what the numbers mean haha. Also grabbed an insecticidal soap (miracle gro) I saw 2 thrips between last night and today. Already sprayed the soap an will start feeding tomorrow. Thanks for your help/assistance and sorry if my thread created any problems haha

Where do you live? Plant spring harvest fall so you start outdoor when supposed to
I'm on the east coast of the U.S.-I was off on my timing. This is my 1st ever plant and started germinating I think at the end of April and pretty sure she was sprouting by mid May-I realized with my timing that frost may come before maturation. I'll be better about it next season for sure

Username85 you're doing OK so far for a first go at bags seeds.
Better than my first attempt...... third time Lucky for me to get a plant growing successfully.
1st try was in Belize, back in 1981, at the back of the runway of the international airport.
A disaster! The seeds popped, grew for a few days and shrivelled to death lol
2nd attempt was in UK with more Belizean bag seed.
Popped them in a car, again they grew for a day or two then got frazzled in the heat!
Doh!
3rd attempt was in my parents garden a few years later and was a success and the rest is history lol lol

Thanks for the encouragement Moflow, you've definitely made this forum a friendlier one for me. I have to assume those first plants of yours were when you were very young? Hahaha that was a gutsy first spot, the back of the airport!? Hahaha, nowadays one would probably be in more trouble for walking around the airstrip than from growing haha

Username85. You need a plan.
You got all the ingredients to hand to get a successful grow under yer belt, weather permitting
Your plant food of 2 2 2 with trace elements will do.
Let your plant get on the dry side - the container will feel light when you lift it.
Place container in a drip tray .... if you have one, if not don't worry.
Mix up your feed as per the instructions on bottle and drench the soil, I mean drench it till the water pours out the bottom big time.
This will flush out all the old, stale nutrient and give the roots fresh nutrients to get its teeth into and will help with the slight nutrient deficiencies.
The pot will be super heavy after you do this.
Then leave it for a couple of days until container gets light to lift , damp Not dry and water as normal next go. It'll take 4 - 7 days for feed to kick in and plant should start looking greener and healthier.

As for the 12/12 flowering outside?
Maybe this will shave a week off your finishing time.

Give the plant 12 hrs of light and 12 hours of darkness by covering it with something.
For example your plant is not that big, Sooooo........
Get 3 or 4 bamboo canes, attach them to outside of pot with tape and use this frame to pull over a black plastic bin bag or such to give it 12 hrs of dark at Same Time every evening.
Looks like it'll finish very late October early November frosts permitting.
To help with the colder period, ie frosts, place the plant really close to your house in a south facing area.
Trust me...... I'm a Doctor

Moflow, as always, thanks a bunch. I wish now I would've pot a traditional pot with holes in the bottom, this one has some self-draining system with holes in the bottom that leads to another chamber area. I think it's just a buffer space for the roots, but I'll use the routine above.

Should be sweet. As you've another 2 months to go you could always transplant to a bigger pot. Something twice the size would be ok.
I transferred that lemon haze type? yesterday to its final pot.

Transplanting into a bigger pot during flowering won't stunt or shock the plant into not growing? I was worried I had done this when transferring into its current pot, but obviously didn't kill it. I at least know the soil should be dry before transplanting-I'll post some pics if I decide to go that route
