Yes you can veg for 4 weeks then give them complete darkness for 24hrs and just force flower... If you veg for 4 more weeks you will not regret it whatsoever...

It all depends on how large you want your plants ultimately to be and how much space you have in your grow room. They can double or even triple in size during flower in some cases. The longer you veg, the more budsites there will be. To avoid any height restrictions, you can always tie your babies via LST.

Happy Growing!

Don't make it harder than it is. Low Stress Training is simply bending branches, or tying them down. The key is that you want to allow the plant to recover before you stress it more. Bend some branches, give them a few days, and they will recover on their own. Depending on how hard you pinch them, the point that is bent will swell and you might even see a little bit of dead tissue if the exterior of the stalk is breached. It works out for you because the plant will supply nutes to the branches to help repair the damage, but the plant shut all the nutes off after it is repaired, so it will end up supplying more nutes to the flowers. Just go one branch at a time and get a feel for it.

If you plan on training why not going SCROG?
You place a screen and pull back anything that comes up in the first 3 weeks of flowering creating a screen of buds. Even canopy - everything gets good light.

Usually you want to grow your girls until the horizontically fill your room. Thats when they utilize the light good enough and you could start flowering with less light loss.
