I think eighteen days since they popped so here's some pics still having heat issues I think the leaves are curled a little or I could be paranoid. The Big one (Big Sis) looks pretty good to me but mini she is just so small. Oh well I'll just wait and c. I think I'm going to flower this one early I need some good smoke I been smoking regs for like 6 months. Plus I'm going to germ some more and get em veggin so I can have a full grow going when I cut the twins down. Also I think I'll have less root probs.

Looking good CS. Dont worry too much about a little leaf curling at that stage. I freaked out about my little ones as they werent forming prefectly but once they get a little bigger they really come on. Just make sure you are watering the right amount and dont start nutes too early.

Your mk looks fine. dont worry about the 82f, mk can take the heat. i run mine at 82-84 all day and they love it.You wont have to work to hard to keep em small so you should be good to go in your cab. cool cab by the way.if you have any more questions fire away, i have lots of mk at all stages right now.hers a little one at 21 days from clone, had to top it so she gets fat.

Thanks RS I think they're fine I've just got the noob jitters. Although I did start them on 1/4 strength nutes a few days back my plan was every third watering they would get 1/4 strength. Well I used the wrong bottle and nuted them twice in a row I think its ok just two or three little spots so back to just water for bit.

too late now dont seperate them I read a rosenthal ask ed and he said once they are like that if you remove one you damage the roots of the one that you plan on keeping do to the roots growing together it will be ok just put them in a little bit bigger of a pot and give the roots room. hope it helped

Things are looking good for you. Best of luck, they'll be starting veg soon and you'll see some serious growth.
Thanks MB I can't wait I already see it's starting. There is so much going on in the middle up at the top it looks like there isn't enough room for it all.

Hey Ganja hows it goin? Thanks 4 the info. I def want them both to live I think when I get my screen in I'll be able to get the smaller one some much needed light and c what she does. U can't tell from the pic but they r in a 3 gallon pot u think it's good? I could go a little bigger but not much in my little cab. Thanks 4 droppin in.
looking good, chainseeker!! Im following ya....

I have never tried growing two in one, very curious..
Yeah it's not normal but when u get 2 sprouts from 1 seed U only have 2 choices and I didn't have the heart to cut her. So maybe I can get them both to do well. Thanks 4 stoppin in I'll keep the updates commin.

If she is shaded you can always let her go a few weeks longer after you chop her big sister. She may end up being small or maybe she'll get stretchy and poke out the side. When are you going to flower? I'm assuming the sooner the better it will be for the roots. Although they may be part of the same root system so they may both do fine. Just give them enough room for what they need. So what exactly is your light ration now and what are your temps running at? Also, did you use glass or Plexiglas? I am not sure but I would think the Plexiglas might work better for stopping the heat from penetrating and it is much safer. The glass will just heat up and pass the heat to the plant anyways and could easily be shattered. You can get Plexiglas from Lowe's but I think it is kind of expensive. If the price isn't too high I think I will get a piece and give it a shot myself. They even cut it there for you. If you are lucky they might have some scrap that they will give to you for free.

Hey thanks for stoppin in I just left a message 4 u to check out my grow Ur 1 step ahead I see. Its funny I was a glazer for several years and now I have to have someone else cut glass for me it was strange 4 me. Maybe I didn't use it correctly but I didn't have any luck and I am pretty good when it come to glass work. So I now have pointed my 8 inch fan directly at the bulbs and it cools them pretty well. Temps r down to 81 with a jump to 84 right before the a/c kicks on then they drop again. If I could get the other hps working that would be plenty of light I think. I'm going to start flowering real soon maybe a day or two like u said to keep down on the root probs.

Hey CS, you can easily make a carbon filter for around $20. Do a search for it here. I found at least ten threads a couple months ago all giving details on how to build carbon filters. All different types too. Mine is made out of ducting pieces, chicken wire, panty hose, and a large rubber end cap. I think mine cost around $30. I just kind of winged it when building it from plans I found years ago. Pointing a large fan at the carbon filter is helping with temps also since so much heat is comes from the filter. It still feels warm to the touch but I don't feel heat radiating off it like before, and not one part of the box feels hot to the touch from the outside now. Inside my temps are still higher than I would like them but that is only up near the top of the box right around the lights. 6" below the lights the temp is perfect.

Actually, just take a plastic jug of carbon and poke a whole bunch of holes in the bottom and around the lower sides. Then put pantyhose over it. Boom, instant carbon filter. Just make sure you poke enough holes for good air flow.

That would be way to easy. I did put a little diy one together seems to be working ok. She's starting to get a lil stinky already so we'll see soon enough. Hard to get a good pic of it.

Ok I installed the screen now plus installed some rollers on bottom. Now very easy to move it's so much better. The rollers moved it up a couple of inches also and now the temps r a lil better, bonus!
The filter actually seems to be working, it even cleans up the smell after a session (getting baked). I guess it travels into the cab and thru the filter, another bonus! So here's some pics bout to go to the hydro store and pic up some flowering nutes.

I now have 4 passive intakes and 1 active. The 4th pic u can c the filter.

lookin good m8! just a guess have you put the balast for the 70w hps outside the room? if not try this to lower temps :-)

Is the screen attached to her pot or the box? Just wondering, because if it's attached to the box you won't be able to move her or check every side of her as easily. I prefer LST'ing. It it more labor intensive but you have more flexibility. Then again, maybe you can change my mind about it :)

Hey essex thanks 4 droppin in. Yeah I housed them underneath and it did help dropped temps 4 deg. I have a cool little storage space at the bottom so I put em down there. Thanks 4 the tip though if ya got anything else I can always use the help.
