Newbie- my plants are showing "pods" after showing female preflowers

I came back from vacation too see my plants showing male "pods"!!!! I am really upset because they had female preflowers. How can I tell if my females had been pollinated somehow? What will happen if i leave them? will they just turn into bud with seeds? Or will they not bud at all?

So far I have seperated the plants not showing any pods. Please help I dont know what to do because the plants with pods are huge.

that is a bummer! do you think your light sch got messed up or light leak? are they all from the same seed batch? you never know what got pollinated but usually if they are stressed you should be ok as many wont even produce pollen. i would kill the ones with male pods and see what happens you should be cool. even then a little seed never killed a grow. its always the best beauties that throw bananas. i would def wait this one out though and see what happens as the plants progress. if you feel like there were no light leaks and not stressed it might be the seed you got

PS...are you sure it's female? Does it have female pistils now?

From left to right: first two are females that have been seperated, third is a real early bloomer that looks female but has some weird buds going on, fourth is the six foot male, 5 is definite male pods that are burst(far away from female), 6 is another early bloomer big cola, 6 is close up of early bloomer, 7 ismaybe female that got pollinated?, 8 is female thats about two weeks in, 9 is anothe close up of early bloomer.


SO the BIG question I have is what the f^&* do males turn into? If it is a straight male is it entirely usless? Can I use it to make hash or anything? the males are far away from the females so I'm not worried about pollination really.

unless you're talking miles and down wind, you're not.
I'd make canna butter with the males.

If your into making your own strain, you could cut the pods off and put them in an air-tight container in the freezer. The only thing is you would have to take those males somewhere FAR away from your grow...like in another house. That's how one of my friends did it and now he's the only one with this special strain.

No doubt! I'd cut them down, to each they're own, I don't like to eat weed. Just me.

you don't eat the weed you eat the THC extracted into the butter and cooked into cookies etc.

Don't feel bad, I cloned 10 little Ladies, then 2 weeks later..... She was a He....., and the Colored Girls started singing....

Thanks for your help. I cut down the males and am making butter once their dry. Females are in a safe spot, the two that were budding were hermies or something because they had bud but seeds? Imma let these babies flower for at least another 6 weeks. a

That male with all the balls will destroy.your crop brought get rid of it..there will be more seed than smoke if.they get pollenated early enough
