newbie needs advice

;Diy Wood Cabinet Build;
Size hopefully 96"L*96"W*48" d
There is gonna be #4 chambers: the Breeding chamber which is 24"L*96"W*48D the Flowering Chamber which is 36"L*96"W*48"D The Vegetation/Clone,Seedlings Chamber this chamber will be split into two sections, top half for Vegatation and bottom half clones an seedlings top half which is vege will be 36"L*50"W*48"D and the bottom half which is clones an seedlings will be 36"L*36"*48"D
:HARDWARE: Starting with the breeding chamber 600w dimmable hps/mh ballast with a 6"cooltube reflector (cooling system for lights will all run together meaning starting at one end and ending at the other meaning intake will start at the beginning of breeding chamber an run thru flowering and exhaust will be at the end of vege chamber.) OK with that said I am thinking about making 10" intake hole with a 10"-8" reducer with a 8" fan, (8"-6" reducer) blowing thru 600w cooltube and a 6" duct booster fan at the beginning of flower chamber blowing thru 1000w cooltube and a 8" fan with a 8"-10" reducer at the end of vege chamber (exhaust hole). Will be using 400w mh all ballasts are dimmable. Now back to hardware in breeding area intake and exhaust will be 2 pc fans on (all fans will be on temperature sensor timer with a 6" clip fan for air movement) plants will be in 14 gallon storage tote with 4 2" or 3" net pots. This will be a dwc hydroponics setup by the way. Flower room will be 1000w ballast hps/mh cooltube thinking of doing 2 pc fans for intake an maybe a 8" inline fan for exhaust. Plants will be in 22 gallon tote with 3" net pots don't know how many at the moment. Vege chamber will have 400w mh cooltube with a 22 gallon tote an some 3" net pots don't know how many yet with 1 pc intake fan and 1 pc fan for exhaust. And for the seedling and clone area I will have a 2ft t5 3-lights 28w fluorescent light with 2 small pc fans for intake an exhaust will be using organic everything haven't decided what line yet. First off if you have read this thanks I would like some info or opinions on the setup iam new to this at the moment so iam doing some homework. Thanks and happy 420.

Hi,

Before I attempt to give you some input, I need to first understand, when you say 'I'm new to this at the moment', do you mean you have not grown before?

only thing i "might" change is the 1k to 600hps for flowering area. 3x4 is a bit small for a 1K. add some side lighting to a 600 and it would be better IMO.

other than that, build it light-tight and it should work fine.

If you want an honest answer, I think you are going for too much too soon. Keep it simple at first. If you have never grown a plant out, how do you expect to be able to have the skills needed to require a breeding chamber?

Not trying to hate, just think you need to realign your ideas with reality somewhat!

Thanks bro
if you gots some cash, check out 315watt LEC lights. put 2 of those in the flower area and they would destroy a single 600. probably come close to the 1K for yield. and the LEC runs much cooler than HPS too. they usually run open in just a reflector and not in a cooled hood though.

Thanks for the input and the breeding chamber was going to be used to breed the same strains for right now. I don't wanna keep ordering from seed banks

Its good bro and I was looking at it like the breeding chamber would be for same strains for the moment ill hate to keep ordering from seed banks

Keep a mother plant. Madness to devote space that could be used for flowering to produce seeds, when you could keep a mom and use the extra space to grow more flowers. Would give you the dollar to buy as many seeds as you want. All you need is a veg chamber and a flowering chamber.

Anyway, keep it simple, and good luck with the project.

bOOm out.
