Hi there,

I'm recently knew to all this growing lark and was wondering how often i can give my plants nutes?

I have the jungle Juice 2 part A&B for veg and bloom.

I'm just wondering how often they can be given nutrients without harming the plants?

If there a good feeding regime/ schedule that is used?

Do I soak the plant with the water and nutes? How much is recommended?

The plants are just over three weeks old, so still babies...

Any help would be greatly appreciated! :)

Cheers.

Many suggest adding nutes every other water. I feed every water but something less than a full dose. I am in a peat-based medium augmented with perlite and yes I water until there is run-off and then dump the run off. This way I have never had any salt build up...just a consistant amount.

Many thanks for your reply, so when you drench it and allow run off, does this apply to nutes too or just watering? Thanks for your help.

My nutes are water soluble (Jack's Citrus) so all my water is prepared and utilized the same way.

Ok, thanks very much for the help. As mine is two parts. I have to mix each time I think? I can't pre mix and leave it aside.??
I do not see any reason why not...albeit I have never used the JJ.
I bet if you searched here you would find someone with a specific regimen for that product.

this didn't come with your nutes? i found it in 3 seconds online. Google is a good thing.
it depends on what kind of medium you're growing in. if i'm using soil, i like to feed twice then water with ph'ed water till i get a good runoff. if i'm using coco, i water every day, giving cal-mag one watering, then water, then feed, then water, and get a little run off every time.
if i'm using hempy pots, it pretty much the same as coco

Good stuff here...but when I used coco it was pretty much the consistency of my current peat mix (as opposed to the larger nugget/balls I've seen here) and watering every day would not have given them much time to breath. I luvs me my peat though.

Do you have your pens? At 3.5 weeks plants are ready to receive "light" nutes. 200 ppm or less. At about 2.5 weeks, I start giving plants a" low" dose of nitrogen 80 to 100 ppm. I use an 11-0-0 supplement as nitrogen deficiency will be first villain to show up. I keep run off to a minimum, allowing watering with low nute doses more often. Increase ppm and water amount as plant grows. I feed 3, flush 1, feed 3, flush 1 etc. . Using "slightly" more acidic water for flush. Keep nitrogen levels "slightly" elevated early, getting past nitrogen deficiency in early veg. is a big help to newbs., and keeps your spirits up. This basic approach has worked well for me. Good luck.
