a newbie that has started with G-13 seeds, a 430hps lite, and much reading about soil mixtures.
my goal is to stay current, and meet online people that are interested in helping a newbie with his first attempt

all comments are welcomed, and hopefully i can chat with some interesing growers
thanks again

A new soil grower to the forum, welcome! G13 is a great looking strain, which company are the seeds, SOMA? Start up a grow journal, fill us in on some specifics, and you need any soil related advice, lighting, etc. feel free to shoot me a PM. Also check out the RIU Soil/Organic Growers Guild in my signature, I'm hoping to collect as many good soil growers in one place for a viable resource tool. Happy growing mate

thanks for the welcome.
a frequent travlier to AMS,, i brought the g-13 back from "barneys".
about 2 weeks old, and so far look real good!
i have done alot of reading about soil, bought the "testers" and my soil show just a little high (i think), just over 7ph.
thanks again,, i have already started the photo catalog,, and when they start to look bigger,, i will post pictures

Thanks for sending those specs Derby, sounding like you're going to have a real solid grow going on there. I do love the
Haze genes so I'm really interested to see the Famed G13 from Barneys come out from seed to harvest. I'm subscribed 100% my friend, good luck, and happy growing. Keep us updated

p.s. Get that pH down to 5.6 - 5.8 too mate ;-)

i think i have done my research,, i really do not see any seed companys offering g-13 seeds on the net.
i found this smoke while in ams, and thought it was killer,,right up there with my fav. white widow,,followed closely by ny diesel.
i guess i am lucky to have brought back these seeds.
anyway,, i started them, and they are now 16 days old.
might be a few days,,but i will keep posting, and hope to have some better pics soon.

since i don't really understand how "boards" work,, i thought i would post this and hope kush see's this and offers any advice!
once again,, first grow,
i decide my girls were in to big of containers, so 2 days ago, i very carefully re-potted, and then spots showed up on some leaves.
the plants on a whole still look great, i have monitored PH, and run a Ni test on the soil.
one answered i found was misting plants at night.

i think the girls look great, and will be fine, and that just "something" got on a few leaves?

if any one cares to look at a pic, it is (022309)
i wish i was better with a computer, then i would understand how "threads" and how to put pictures easier to view.

if anyone has a idea or wants to offer advice,, that would be great!

i also got 10 feminized white w, from AMS co. and started those on 2/19,, no one peaking out yet.
anyone know if ww takes longer to germinate then others??
thanks too anyone who replies.

Hey Derby, how you making out? It looks like your leaves just got a little burnt, how close is that light to your plants? Doesn't look like nutrient burn to me, the only site where it seems present is the one pictured. You're doing great mate, don't sweat the small stuff with your girls, soil rarely can kill your plant within a day unless badly burnt or over feeding :). Get a couple more pictures up if you can Derby, show off your work a little. Keep growing green mate
