Feeling confused by too much information on the internet? Overwhelmed by the possibilities? Stop wondering, and start growing today.

Newbies should stick with a simple proven method!

Do NOT attempt complex hydroponics if you're new to growing. When hydroponic systems fail, they fail FAST and your plants are dead overnight!

Grow Medium
Simply use 50/50 mix of Perlite and Vermiculite. Empty each bag into a large trash bag and shake vigorously to mix. Empty into the containers. Buy this at any nursery or Home Depot.

Do not use coco coir newbies! This will help you avoid MANY ISSUES like bad ph, bugs, pathogens, salts, poor drainage, etc! This forum is filled with new people who struggled with coir, avoid it for a successful grow! Do not use peat, pro-mix, soil, dirt, net pots, or rockwool either!

Fertilizer

Most newbies really mess up by starting with chemical fertilizers- mistakes will surely happen- plants will be underfed or overfed very easily with chemicals. If you are a newbie, 100% absolutely use organic fertilizers, it's very forgiving. It is pretty much impossible to hurt your plants if you are using organic EarthJuice nutrients. This company has been around for over 25 years for reason, and you only need *four* inexpensive products, not 15! No need to read a hundred threads debating which is best- this stuff is bulletproof and you won't be hand mixing a million things with crazy recipes. You won't be constantly wondering why your plants are burned up, yellow, underfed, strange deficiencies, etc.

Get EarthJuice Original Grow and EarthJuice Original Bloom- they are a tried and true winner. Just follow the directions on bottle. No need to dilute because with organics you cannot burn your plants like with chemicals. No need to check PH or PPM ever! Easy! No need for ph meter or ppm meter!

Get EarthJuice Sugar Peak Vegetative and Earth Juice Sugar Peak Flowering. Just follow the directions on bottle.

Watering
For watering simply use tap water and add a few drops of chlorine/chloramine remover named SeaChem every time. Chlorine and chloramine kill beneficial microorganisms, that is why we remove it with SeaChem. After you filled the water into an empty milk jug, add the SeaChem and stir. Now add the EarthJuice fertilizer and shake vigorously to add oxygen to water. Let it sit a few hours so it becomes room temperature. When it's time to water the plants, shake vigorously again, and pour it into your watering can and water immediately.

Beneficials
Most importantly, use beneficial microorganisms and pretadors from day one!

You need all 3 OG Biowar products. Follow directions and keep it simple.
http://www.ogbiowar.com/

Also importantly call the good people at http://www.naturescontrol.com/controls.html and tell them to send you fresh controls for mites, gnats, thrips, and aphids. Tell them you want them to automatically sent them to you on a regular schedule, because many of these beneficial insects and nematodes will die if they can't find pests to destroy. Avoid this advice at your own peril, pests will destroy your whole crop so fast your head will spin. An ounce of prevention is worth a 100 pounds of cure. You've seen the countless stories of people battling pests non stop, because they were not diligent with "preventative measures" to avoid these common pests. Destructive pests will be a minor concern if you follow this simple advice!

Lights

Now you need to get the correct lights for your grow room. Which light to use depends on your available space, and how hot/cold the room gets. Describe where you want to grow for help.

Air
You must have fresh air into your grow room, stale air will be low in CO2. So you must get fresh air into your room! The oscillating fans are not enough. Describe where you want to grow for help.

Temperature
Temperature is critical for a healthy grow. Simply make sure the temperature is between 75-85 degrees Fahrenheit (24-29 °Celsius)

Humidity

Clone Cutting/Seedling Stage:
At this stage the ideal RH is 70-80%. The dome on the cutting tray will maintain 70% humidity easily.

A great way to control the humidity of you grow room is with good ventilation, and the use of a humidifier or atomizer when humidity are beginning to get a bit low.

Vegetative Stage:
In this stage the RH can be 50-80%.

Flowering Stage:
You will want to consider dropping the RH greatly. This will avoid the dreaded bud rot. You want relative humidity of 40-50% now.

~if you're not gonna invest $150 on a carbscrub, don't grow.
~on nutes: less = more.
~on when will my grow be done?: a watched pot doesn't boil..trichs with fields of gold before red.
~recommended for professional results inexpensively: GH Floraduo A/B..you need nothing else.
~increase yield easily, like a pro..just bend over cola in mid veg while she's thirty and pliable affix with soil staple (home depot) or zip tie.

a bit too much info here for the noobies guys don't you think?
TBH i find that my 6-points of newb coverage even a bit daunting i know..but if they utilize those 6 strategies i've bullet-pointed they will have accomplished:

a stealth grow
a healthier plant - most pro's agree to some form of less PPM's vs. more
"doneness"
shopped for them cheaply and without add-ons
increased their yield from grow #1
guide that i used for grow #1 (i still burp 2x/day for 30 min)

i'd say that covered all the bases..

One of the best, cheapest pieces of equipment I've bought for my garden was a $7 soil moisture meter. It's made it so much easier to know when to water. No more guessing and over/under watering.

Oh newbies don't get bent over a couple bad seeds, its just a seed. I know you payed a lot for it and had high hopes but don't expect to find a keeper in a five pack.

Ill be the first to be labeled the noob here (we all have to start somewhere)
So a quick question im getting my first grow tent with a 400w hps/mh and will be air cooling with at least a 200+cfm inline. Will a passive intake bring enough fresh air into the tent & then cash the used air via the air cooled hood. Also will the air in the room be enough fresh air for the plants?

This is a half decent guide not to use chems I think is a dumb statement
There easy enough to use I've never grow organic but I've seen a lot posts from lotsa noobs with probs growing with organics
U didn't cover how to start from a seed this is where most noobs fck up due to a poor start that have a poor unhealthy plant
U can not make a a bullet proof guide to growing weed lol
Not is a such a short article

I think what u have done is a little misinformed saying not to use soil is a good laugh
And u make a paragraph about water with no information on how to water or when to water or how much to water what age of plants to water and how much u need to really break it down for new growers lol

My advise to new grower who wanna grow weed is to do a lot research and find what u think is a simple method lots of methods work and all r very simple if u take the time to research it

Use what ever medium u want use what ever nutrients u want
Don't over water don't over nut don't under water
