Often asked question by new growers:

When do I start feeding with nutes and not just plain water?

The correct answer is. .....
The answer is when they need it can only be learned from growing

Or u would suggest 1/4 nuts recommend str nuts when plant r about 3 weeks old and slowly increase till u r at full str or at what ever u feel ur plants can handle

I have never messed with nutes. FoxFarm soil grow is the cause of that. Plants seem perfectly healthy in the stuff mind you I bet they could benifit from nutes, I see 0 deficiencies ever but I am a noob and might just be missing them. Nutes scare the shit out of me easiest way to ruin shit.

Ill be the first to be labeled the noob here (we all have to start somewhere)
So a quick question im getting my first grow tent with a 400w hps/mh and will be air cooling with at least a 200+cfm inline. Will a passive intake bring enough fresh air into the tent & then cash the used air via the air cooled hood. Also will the air in the room be enough fresh air for the plants?
If the room the tent is in is getting fresh air from a central air vent or some other fresh source then it should be fine. It is really simple, you just need fresh air in the room the tent is in. Hope that helps.

the best I could do is open a window, I dont have central air just Heating from the indoor furnace. I have the vents & stuff all through the house but no central air.

Then the best bet is to crack the window open or create a small vent in the wall. Then put a fan on other side of the room that moves the air out of the room and into the attic or another room.

If the room is getting too hot from the furnace vent air then seal the furnace vent.

Sorry for the confusion, I have a furnace/vents but not being used as it is springtime here in Ohio so 40-60f ill be exhausing the hot air from the lamp out beside a window ac unit. The grow is in my entertainment room so im always in/out. I grew my first 1-2 grows in a 3x3x8 closet & man they smelled like hay 24/7 no matter cure or dry. I think it had to do with the fresh air & the plant not getting enough so I bought a grow tent.

maybe you might need an ac. It depends on how hot it gets at your house.

@Dr.Pecker what ionizer do you recomend/use? Only have a small 4x4 grow. Currently using a ozone generator since its in the garage but would like less bleach smell.
Its never a good idea to put one in the grow room just outside the door is fine though. They make all kinds now I used an ionic pro The pro works best if placed in the middle of a room not so good if its backed against a wall.

@Dr.Pecker Thanks, im always half tempted to pick one of those up but always seemed too good to be true.
If you have a ozone generator that might be the same thing. The way we smell things is by particle transfer a piece of solid material with positive electrons floating in the air. So when someone farts yes you are in fact breathing in shit so laugh away. What the ionizer does is emit negative ions that come into contact with positive electrons making them neutral and causing them to fall to the floor or collect on the plates eliminating the smell. Make sure you do your research and look at all the reviews.
