Did you train them in any way or just let them grow out naturally?
I have not done any LSTing, topping etc. im just letting them grow naturally. This strain has proven to display great production of growth in the side colas as well as the main cola. One of the plants is bound with bread ties to support some of the side branches' weight because they are so heavy.

Nice. My Blue Mystic was the same way and hopefully the Northern Lights I just started will be like that too. I think I'm going to grow this strain next. Can't wait to hear how the finished product turns out!
It's nice not having to stress about heavy odor, it can create a serious concern. I've read that northern lights is a virtually odorless strain as well, def a + I will post updates every few days with pictures.

Day 43 of flower. 75 total days.
I can't imagine what they will be finished. Still a few weeks to go.

WoW... Those are some serious buds. What size pots were your plants in and what type of bulb were you using??? I'm using a 400w hps with some CFL's for side lighting but your buds look way bigger.

I used 4 gallon pots for the 3 plants but only about 2 1/2 - 3 gallons max of soil(pots were between 1/2 & 3/4 full). I also used a 400w hps light like the one you have. I didn't use any side lighting however i did use Mylar. Mylar makes a big difference! Try and keep all your pots nice and tight as well as the surrounding Mylar, the plants love it. My main colas weight in at around 1-2 oz. each right now but they are still fresh and moist. Not sure what the dry/cured weight will be, we shall see.

how was the smell throughout the grow? would you consider it low odor? ive had mixed comments on it and trying to figure it out. Do you think a carbon scrubber would get rid of the smell pretty much?

good job on your grow and rep to you!

Hey man thanks a lot, the odor of the plants throughout my grow was slim to none. There was very minimal planty, skunky etc. odors in the grow room if any at all. The most odor I have experienced was during harvest after I trimmed the buds and hung them to dry. Even still, not a strong odor by any means. A carbon scrubber would definitely eliminate the odor 100% but depending on how large/small your grow is, a scrubber may not be necessary. Hope this helps you out!

Hey man, I checked out your grow journal and it looks great!! I think ultimately once you harvest and get those buds nice and trimmed up you will find that they are bigger than they look on the plant. Looking at your pics I would anticipate a pretty good yielding harvest! Some of your colas are comparable in size to mine. After 3-4 days of drying I'm expecting an absolute minimum of 4 oz worth of dried, cured buds. Congrats on a successful grow!!
