Right guys this is my first ever grow so any feedback would be appreciated!

I'm growing these babys in a cupboard which is roughly 2ft sq. with the walls covered with mylar.

Medium - Soil (75% john innes multi purpose 25% perlite) i wanted to get something better but i had a load of this kicking around from some tomatoes i grew in the summer.

Lights - 300w dual spectrum cfl

i was also pretty anal with the whole disinfection process to make sure they don't catch anything nasty!

Im probs gonna update this daily when possible cause I’ve got a really shit memory. Probs cause I smoke so much haha

Day 1 - Germination

I started off germinating the seeds in shot glasses filled with bottled water

Day 2 - Germination

after about 36 hours germination time in the shot glasses i moved the seeds onto damp paper towels on a plate, covered them a mug and placed the whole set up in my grow room with the light on and kept the temperature at a solid 28 Celsius (82 f)

Day 3 - Planting

after about 72 hours germination time i planted the seeds in 3 gallon pots about 1/4 inch deep and loosely covered them. I sprayed the tops of the pots with bottled water and then put two cut in half plastic bottles. i have my light set on 20/4 about 2.5 feet above the soil in the pots.

Day 4 - Waiting

nothing to really report. currently got another seed germinating so i can have a 3rd plant in there. All that i've discovered so far is that my light really heats the grow room up fast! Managed to keep it between 25 c and 28 c so all is good with the world!

thats good to hear po boy, northern lights is a classic and its always a good smoke! i went for this first cause of the ease of growth. out if interest how much yield do you usually get per plant? i know your growing conditions are gonna be pretty different to mine which will affect yield but it would good to have an idea of what to expect

Day 6

right so finally got my act together and took a picture of the first seed thats broken ground. it currently stands about an inch tall. the seed case was still attached to the leaves and preventing them from opening up when it sprouted yesterday so i gently nudged it off and it seems healthy enough.

Fingers crossed that the second and third seeds break ground tomorrow!

Day 7

Plant #1 is pretty much the same as yesterday.

Plant #2 is following suit which im pretty happy about seeing as it was planted a few days after the other 2.

Plant #3 Im a bit worried about. i planted it on the same day as the first plant. Its broken through to the surface but its literally sitting on the surface of the soil and not really growing. I'm half tempted to start germing another seed just in case it dosen't survive. i think i'll give it another couple of days and see how it comes along.

do you think it'll survive guys? I haven't messed with it at all and planted it 1/4 inch deep. i also havent handled the seeds at all

out of interest whats the smell like? a little further down the road im going to have a carbon filter going. my only real worry is 2 plants overpowering that and stinking up the house!

2 plants should be ok for a good fan and can..

Quick question....
Whats your humidity like in there..?
I can't really see from my phone but the soil looks rather dry, I'd like to mist my seedlings now and again when the soil looks a like that..

very low aroma. i have to stand next to them for any smell. with close neighbors this is just what i need. GL

humiditys pretty low. i started the off in little diy humidity domes to help them sprout. im misting them right after the lights come back on again after they have a little sleep. im going to give the 2 that are doing ok a bit of a water today seeing as they've been in their pots for 5 days now with nothing but a light misting every day.

the low aroma is one of the reasons i went for this particular strain! just wanted to make sure that they actually live up to the hype
