There is a little bit of Story behind Choosing this strain as a mother plant.
I had no intention to keep a relatively unknown strain as a mother plant what so ever.
But in a pack of mix nirvana indoor I found this small plant that took my attention from the first week.Its structure is so different that you will not miss it and I had previous experience with all the other strains of nirvana mix.
Here is what Nirvana says about it:
Nirvana Special is a F1 hybrid of Jock Horror and a strain from Oaxaca, Mexico. Nirvana Special has a unique sweet and sour flavour that leaves mouths smacking. The buzz is energetic and uplifting. Nirvana Special grows tall and lanky with many budding sights. This seed yields a maximum of Yield (Sea of Green on one m2) 400/500.

And here is what I have found already:
My pheno growed like a pure Sativa from the first day.
Its tall and lanky as they mentioned (and more)
Easy to Grow in hydroponics.
Not that sensitive to PH fluctuations. I kept around 6.
A Low to medium feed schedule works perfect for it.(EC around 1200 max during vegetation).
The grow was in a fixed rate until day 40 then it took a faster pace so be a little patient if you want a mother plant.
It began to lose its first and second and third fan leaves by gradual yellowing that was a sign of low nitrogen level at that time (EC was about 600)but soon i found its the natural course of this plant. they are not dependant on their main fan leaves at all , and sooner or later fan leaves of side branches take over and begin to delete the main fan leaves.
Imo this is a true Christmas tree growth.
From the first day I was sure it s a female and she did not disappoint me(she was a regular seed).
Showed its preflower around day 28 of vegg that was so female!! But in the next internode its preflower showed classic two micro pistils to confirm she is there for me.
I dont know the effect of the strain from Oaxaca, Mexico on jock horror but its leaves smells so spicy !!! That I consider it a very close descendent of legendary Jack Herrer that is famous for its spicy aroma. I fell in love with this spicy scent .Its so exquisite that I cant resist pinching it to fill the space with its fantastic aroma.
Its side branch looks perfect For cloning that Will begin in couple of weeks when flower room is empty.
It has been under cfl(strated from 23 watt) and now around 150 watt cfl.
I use Advanced Nutrient product and reverse osmosis water.
It needs a lot of attention during flowering for preventing the branches to break but Hey, its a Jock Horror and worth every effort for the final product.
The last pictures was taken yesterday when she is about 45 days old.
