Nitrogen toxicity and a flush ?

So just wondering what everyone’s thoughts are my plants are clawing And folding all green been dryin out pretty good and been giving small amounts of plain ph water to make sure it’s not over watered 3 days later still looking the same plant is
Jack herer fast(photo) soil in 5 gal fabric pots in tent with 8 others was feeding genhydro flora trio up till about week and half and since then been plain water. Tap/well with iron system. Without a ph pen or meter you are pretty much shooting in the dark. Plant won’t uptake nutrients correctly if the ph isn’t right.

Keep feeding plain water, it’s n toxicity. It can clear up on its own as the plant grows but no more feeding is needed. just water.

Yea I figured so I haven’t gave them anything but water for well over a week now got some pool testers and checked it gonna say round 6.5

Thats not how watering works.

Over watering isn't about volume but frequency.

Let the soil dry, then water heavy and wait for soil to dry. Never keep the soil wet all the time. Thats over watering, not letting the soil dry.

Over watering can also cause clawing. Your plants are dark too though.

Downside to a flush is you can deprive the plant of the other nutrients. Add to that we are in flower when we really want a feed thats more like 1-2-2 or 1-2-3.

Whats causing the nitrogen excess? Is this an organic soil with bottle feed on top of that? Is this a weak lighting situation?

With what I been giving them they have never had a problem drying out actually most times there quite dry when I feed them. I know there not over watered or under watered why use fabric pots. Just a lot of nitrogen who tent seems very green. So what I did was I flushed that one about 7 gals of plain ph water. See what happens. I just don’t wanna mess them up letting them go stunted since there flowering figured it’s important to get it feeding right npk.
Plain soil little perlite mix.
I’ve grown a full crop to chop with these lights already. 2 philzon 1200.

i just wanted to say good job on this comment here, you really are asking the perfect questions. after reading this I have a whole new 123 check list for myself to go by lol.

By plain I mean no added extra stuff Like that i added to the soil it was some miracle grow I had in garage. From last grow before Christmas

Well the soil likely has some nutrients in it, add the bottle feed and you have too much nitrogen.

I've seen growers get N toxicity from MG soil. It has those granules in them and they will release Nitrogen periodically, possibly all the way through flower. Once you start adding nutrients, you may want to stop using the floragrow for the flowering phase.

Exactly I actually didn’t think about miracle grow having excess of nitrogen. This is my first time using bottled Nutes. So when u say stop giving the grow and use the bloom should I just give it a feed of bloom cause inknow the grow has high N and the micro has even more N value.

I'm not sure because micro has other important stuff in it. I'm not an expert, just pointing out the MG may continue releasing Nitrogen during flower so it seems logical to cut back on bottled N. I last used floratrio 2 yrs ago but I think the GH feed schedules say to stop floragrow in mid-bloom but keep using micro most of the grow.

So update I flushed the one plant in the tent left the others just as an experiment and can say it’s been over a week plant still hasn’t dried out but omg the trich production is insane and now tbh at I can check my water the ph is round 6.6 it’s drinking again haven’t gave my tent any Nutes for about 3 weeks now gonna start just feeding bloom
