How do you make yoir budder? I find i never can find a way thats good for the keeper. Most times i just supply the herb and let my friend make the budder for a share so i don't have to deal with it.
Butter is stupid easy to make it just takes some prep and a good amount of cleanup.
First off you want to decarb your weed or trim. I throw a even layer(broken up) on a cookie sheet and cover with tinfoil. Bake at 220 for 55 min. Should be very fragrant and golden brown when it's done.
Next, get a pot on the stove and fill it about 1\4 with water. Put your butter in with it. The water keeps the butter from burning. Get the butter melted and add your decarbed weed, put it on low and periodically check it and stir it. You dont want it boiling. A few bubbles in the middle with a little movement is good. I cook it for about 2 hours.
Get a bowl a strainer and some cheesecloth. Put strainer over bowl, put cheesecloth in strainer. Pour hot butter/weed/water mix through strainer into the bowl. Let cool then take cheesecloth out of strainer with the weed in it and wring it out as much as you can into the bowl(still lots of butter left in weed if you don't wring it out)
So now you should be left with a bowl full of dank cannabutter and water. Stick it in the fridge and the butter will harden up into a disk at the top. Take it out and you're good to go. That cookie recipe i posted above, I usually make 30 cookies with it and use about 4 ounces frosty trim. Super overkill i wouldn't recommend it to newbies or even some experienced smokers.
