its just really hard to learn on shitty genetics trust me. not saying its impossible but if you ever switch to professional genetics you will see a huge difference in growth rate, size, girth of the stems and even the nutes will have to be changed.
I appreciate the comments but all what I wanted to know is if the plant pictured can be salvaged or not. I've seen debates between off the shelf seeds and bag seeds and I do not wish to have the merits of both repeated here, I'm sure we are all aware of it. If in your view the plant cannot be salvaged then I will note it in my decision in a week's time, when I will either keep it going or remove it.

okay just by way of update, managed to score two white widow seeds, I'm going to let these plants grow for the meantime while I germinate the new seeds. I suppose given that I'm now using proper seeds I will see if I can start a grow journal.

I've seen hemp and land race sativa do this. Hemp was selected for that characteristic for rope. Jungle dope does this to reach higher in the canopy. They might very well be worth hanging on to

Thankz for the comment, I must say I'm very tempted to start over but will give it a week in its flattened posture to see how it will react.
