No till pots after the first harvest.

Hey guys. So just wondering what you no till guys do after the harvest. growing in coots mix, and using clover as a living mulch. worked really well. Now ive harvested and I have all this clover growing plus the leftovers from the plant. I got some worm casting at the ready as well as some kelp meal. These pots wont have anything planted in them again for 2 months.

So what should I do with them for the next 60 days to ensure theyre good and ready to go for the next round?

Hey there. Many ways to do this....the more i read about no till the more i think itz what you have available on hand, what workz for you and what fitz in with your routine/lifestyle.

Since you already have the clover growing...keep it trimmed so it adds as a mulch while still living.

Personally i take out the bulk of the root stock (trying my best for minimum distruption to the soil) Maybe do a light dressing of the worm casting/kelp mix to not suffocate your clover.

To kick start the breaking down process...try getting some diastatic malted barley flour (enzymes) to break down the left over roots.

I personally have a general dry mix to amend my soil.

If it is at all possible...leave your pots outside on earth/soil

easy, just keep the clover alive, what I do is put the container size that is going to be in it, put an empty one in there now, then allow the soil web to grow till you put your next round in, I wouldn't worry about taking any roots out, they will degrade back into the soil, and not to mention the roots are full of accumulated nutrients already, also the mycorrizhae, and root exudates too

Ok here goes...... First time post. I must say the ***no-till method*** is the way I want to do it. Its seams cheaper in the long run, and much better for the environment..

as well as being better smoke from what i understand. i doubt i could tell the difference between the two though, hell, i can't even tell the difference between smoking full incida vs full sativa.

Oh. no doubt.. do you have any experience with predator mites for spider mites? i don't want to use any pesticides, anymore either.

The intial setup can be a pricey. Ive got about 1500 invested. But its also why I grow vertical. saved money on big ass hoods. And I run low plant count. I only ever have 4 plants growing. Im in mid harvest on this round and it looks to be around 3 lbs of smoke and no idea yet on hash weight. Bags are taking longer then expected to arrive. But for my first run in organic no till, 2k lights vert 4 plants im pretty happy with the turn out. But I know I can improve on it. First round and all.
