No water for 2 weeks? (3 hempy's and 2 dwc buckets)

I have never done dwc before but am going to be starting a veg cycle with 2 5 gallon buckets. There will also have 3 hempy buckets in flower at the same time this veg starts.

I am wondering if they can make it 2 weeks without watering them. I figure with the hempy buckets i can just fill my runoff tub above the hole in the bucket and they will be fine. But what about the DWC? I assume the roots will suck up water, how much per day any ideas?

Full grown up to 1.5 gallons/plant/day

Yeah, that's true. Mine are full grown and are drinking at least one gallon a day right now. I have one that is actually drinking about 1.5 gallons a day.....So believe what the man above says. :-)

I will also say that my smaller plants (12 inches tall or so) don't drink nearly that much. I bet if I topped them off with more water than I usually give them, I could make it two weeks... So, it really depends on the size of your plants. You'll know right away how much they're drinking as soon as you get them in to your DWC reservoir. Just monitor the water consumption closely for the first couple days..

What if you add a supplemental reservoir, and also add a gravity drip line to your hempies? Is that a possibility?

How about 2 rezes the same size, one with the bubbleponics stuff in it, the other just plain. Connect the two at the bottom with a hose. Place at same level. Now as plants drink from container A, it's automatically refilled by the pressure in B. You have effectively doubled rez capacity.
