Non-Chinese LED Brands

I've read a ton of articles now, including this one on this forum. I don't want to buy crappy Chinese LEDs. I want the best LEDs that there are. The stuff the pros use. I like the simplicity and neat look of LEDs. But I don't want to buy something that simply wont produce the results.

Can someone please give me a few names of TRUSTED LED brands that are not Chinese? Or maybe even a few trusted Chinese brands, if there are any?

There are NO trusted Chinese brands.
Many are so proud of their work they don`t even put their name on it.

If you get a highly efficient light designed by enthusiasts such as

they will send to SA, but you will probably be murdered for it, house torched, dog raped etc

The only good thing about cheap & nasty steaming piles of pooh from China is,
they illustrate just how good the top shelf lights are

you sure this is an american company? not that i care about that. i buy stuff from china all the time. but i just have my doubts about this specific company. their website looks exactly like the mars-hydro website.

I don't think the OP is worried about which country makes them. I think the question here is, who is reputable and trustworthy. Plus, it seems like the vast majority of LED fixtures use the Samsung diodes. Primarily because they're the most efficient. I still recommend HLG and they deliver to the OP's area as well.

I understand the OP frustrations, but good LEDs are not cheap, those cheap Chinese ones do look tempting but rather er on the side of caution. If shipping from overseas is an issue, look up the local hydroponic store online, they courier the next day

Samsung or Bridgelux from one of the official distributors like Digikey (free shipping with big enough order)
Or if you feel less DIYey get some HLG boards from Stephen above, many of his units use the same LEDs as the Samsung strips.
My order to South Africa was less than week.

Hi ANC, any customs charges once it got here? I'm in Western Cape
