Noob Ph issue

So strips came in today. Reads 8ph. And my tds reads 320-400ppm depending on the tap.
Now I'm currently broke till payday which is A week away, so sadly ph down is currently out of reach.
Now after learning how high the ph is, I'm hesitant to water them & today is watering day.
I've got what looks to be a phosphorus defiency which i can only assume came from that nasty water. (yes i was guilty of over watering, but she hasn't gotten Jack since the 1st .I'm getting the hang of it lol)

Any home made remedies to drop ph?
And would giving it 5-5-5 fert (20-20-20 at 1/4th) help or should I get something heavier in p.
but that would have to wait a week. Feel like i maybe stuck between a rock and a hard place lol.

I'm dealing with the same PH levels approx 1 tbsp of vinegar to 1 gallon gets you back down 6 is the magic number, once I dropped my PH back to 5.5 the roots started letting nutrients back into the plants and my color returned

for this next watering put the ph lower than 6? should I bother giving it any fert or just plain water .

Just get your PH under control first ,I use a water tester, and also soil very inexpensive not to have
I grabbed 5 packs of 400 ph strips for 9$ couldnt pass that up lol , they claims it does soil ,water, urine etc. Not entirely sure how i ph soil with a strip though lol.

Looking at the picks ,I want to say that lower leaf damage may have been from roots that stayed too damp my damage showed up all over, the color of your higher leaves are looking good

If that is the case, that's good news lol. Cause since getting my tent Friday my temps are steady at 21c so they should start to dry out a bit faster than before since the basement wasn't the warmest place lol. Did about 1l of water to each last night first time since the 1st . I was doing it every 2-3 days prior and that was still a bit much for the babies apparently :p .

If you have a 20/20/20 and use it at 1/4 strength you still have a nutrient of 20/20/20 but it is diluted down to a 1/4 strength of the recommended dosage. It doesnt change to a 5/5/5.

Recommend to add ,microbes (for sure), a kelp product and humic acid to the grow.

Microbes just a tiny pinch once a week. I like the Raw brand bloom microbes for veg and bloom.
Kelp use once a week stop at week two of flower. I like the Raw brand kelp and bio bizz.
And humic acid once a week. Stop at week 7 flower. Again Raw brand humic acid . Then if you research what these product can do for you look into amino acid for calcium uptake and b vitamin for stress/transition to flower is when I use the B.

I'll defiantly have to research those, being a noob I'm trying the less is more approach , see far to many 10+ bottle sets and that shit mind boggles me lol.
I'm ok with 1,2 maybe 3 part sets but haven't tried any yet. Havent actually spent any money on ferts yet, started around Christmas which turned out to be a horrible idea cause moneys always tight around that time of year . but I had left over 20-20-20 from my summer veggie garden and found next to no info on it , made the call it was probably close to jacks and ran with that asumption lol. But this upcoming pay I need to get a ph up/down set then try and decipher what fert is Best for a noob cause I'm not 100% sold on the stuff I have on hand.

10$ for a 1lb bag of kelp, not to pricey.
I'm assuming I'd have to top dress with it or just add when i feed.
humic 36$ for a 8oz bottle seems a bit steep but looks concentrated , then there's a big bottle of 0-0-1 humic 1L for 19$ , probably diluted? Or not what I'm looking for ? Lol .

The strips are wildly inaccurate because the color of the nutrients will influence the color of the run off. Spend 15-20 bucks on a proper pH pen and calibrate it regularly.

Yea I meant to buy one, paid more attention to the sale price than the object and ended up with a tds meter(53$ on sale for $19) lol. Late night amazon shopping isn't advised . but I got the strips at a good deal and am having a hard time deciphering them. but that's an item on the shopping list

i wouldnt spend that money for that bottle of humic acid there are other products out there. I mentioned the kind I use already

Get the ph drops they are alot easier to read than the strips.
