I've been reading alot of everyone saying like start flowering in 2 weeks or whatever, I was just wondering how are they forcing the plant to go into the flowering cycle?

Well you can veg a plant forever in 18/6 it will never flower automatically unless you have an auto strain.. Indoors the only way to get it to flower is by shortening the light cycle to 12/12..

Depending on how much light you have, how much room, and what growing style you're using will determine when the right time to flower will be.

by changing the light cycle...the plant will be like oh shitttt, time to bud out..and boom you got some buds to smoke on!!!

if your growing outside it should do it on its own, inside grow 12/12 light dark alternation. or 14/10. around there. grow outside tho, bigger harvests, plant in april tho. just thought id throw that in :P:weed:

i guess it would be the opposite, so plant outside now or as soon as possible. i planted my baby late may. 1 lb 1 ounce harvest WITH ROBBERS. some dick bag took 1/4 of the harvest of my juanita :( ill be more discreet later on.
