"However, the amount of active THC in raw marijuana is so low that a 3-year-old child would have to eat three bagels' worth of it to have an effect."

wtf is a bagels worth? how much is acceptable for a 3 yearold to eat
older dried weed has much more active thc too

"Butte County Sheriff's deputy Sam Burnett testified about speaking with a lab technician from Quest Diagnostics in Kansas. The technician tested a hair sample that came back as positive for THC."

would you say its right for children that young to have thc in their system?
Yes, in fact it is healthy for them. PIG

"Bram and Walsh had previously faced child abuse charges, but Judge Steven Howell ruled last Nov. 30 that there wasn't enough evidence to hold the couple on those counts. The prosecution refiled the charges against Bram."

they've had previous run ins with cps and they still havent got their shit together? see below

" There were also reportedly plastic grocery bags under a bathroom sink containing syringes and spoons, one coated with a white substance."

wtf are they doing with syringes and spoons under their sink?

The BATHROOM sink, whoa, I thought kitchen but seriously? I can name so many things under mine, I don't even know what they are named?! that white stuff for upset tummies on a spoon? just maybe? I got a syringe from my oldest baby still, doggie morphine, she passed 5 years ago, please don't take my other dogs away! GEORGE W BUSH are you evil or just mean.

And the previous arrest is the one for child abuse for being around it at the initial bust. READ THE ARTICLE PIG!

1. Are any parents perfect? If they aren't perfect should we imprison them all and send the children off to some collective agency for re-education?
according to the article this wasnt the first time they had a run in with cps

not all parents are perfect but some people do fall short of being a "parent" i have no problem at all with the state taking their children away
2. Syringes are not illegal, the white powder must not be illegal either or they would have been arrested for it. Most likely they found the owners Diabetic kit/ Allergy kit and some baby powder. I don't even know why that was in the story, other than to convince dumb asses that are unable to critically think that the defendants are hardcore drug users, but if the white powder and syringes were used for anything Illegal that would be EASILY PROVEN, but of course nothing was proven because there was nothing illegal about the syringes or the white powder (Babypowder). Sometimes parents use babypowder for babies, are there any babies in this story?
i dont think it have been mentioned in the story if it was as innocent as diabetic or baby powder
3. 30,000 children die each year from drinking chemicals found under the sink, guess how many of the parents went to prison? NONE!!
30000 really? that seems an awful lot you sure your not making that up?
"Tragically, approximately 30 children die every year due to accidental poisonings."
http://www.chop.edu/service/poison-control-center/resources-for-families/preventing-poisonings-from-medicines-household-chemicals-pesticides-and-lead.html

aside from that whats your point?

4. When did it become a felony to breastfeed?
ive yet to find the part that justifies the op's "felony breast feed" so ask them

if and when you have your 3 yearold kid taken away from you because you think its healthy for him to get high the state would have my full support
There's a difference between getting high and testing positive for THC metabolites numb nuts. Granted these parents aren't very responsible but a hair follicle test is going to pick up even the faintest amount of THC metabolites.

I really don't see the uproar. They'll hand out amphetamines to 8 years like candy...but they don't charge those doctors and parents with child abuse. It's perfectly accepted, much more neurotoxic and much more addictive. But it's legal!

really you cant come out and say its not alright for kids to have thc in them?
But it is alright.

Summery since you fail at English reading and interpration

A study over 15 years ago began in Jamaica on both Ganja smoking mothers and Non Ganja smoking mothers controlled for Socioeconominic class
(that means they made sure one control group was not all rich bitches like you and the other all poverty striken)

(oh, that means things like not enough food or poor moral standards could not be determining factors in any conclusions)

So all the woman either smoked during pregnancy and gave ganja tea to the children or they didn't use ganja or give to the children.

A NIDA pig doctor who changed his data a findings abruptly stopped it also to take a coveted NIDA job, say hi to the PIG for me.

Dr Dreher went back 15 years later with amazing findings I think you should just read.. here are a few different sources too....

OINK OINK OINK that's in the US only!

Children Act Fast...So Do Poisons!

Every 15 seconds, a Poison Control Center somewhere in the United States gets a call. More than half of these calls are from an adult tending to a child who has swallowed a potentially poisonous substance. These substances include medicine, household chemicals and pesticides. In addition, lead-based toxins also pose a serious health threat to children in this country.

Exactly, Mother's are turning rapidly to cannabis over ritalin and adderall for their ADD kids.

""We can't conclude that there is necessarily no impact from prenatal ganja use but we can conclude that the child who attends basic school regularly, is provided with a variety of stimulating experiences at home, who is encouraged to show mature behavior, has a profoundly better chance of performing at a higher level on the skills measured by the McCarthy scale whether or not his or her mother used ganja during pregnancy," said Dreher. "

^^ that is not proof it was a study of 30/30 children (very small data set) and even the author doesnt claim it is

It shows you have faulty data, now respond to my real answers not my pokes.

according to the article this wasnt the first time they had a run in with cps

ginjawarrior: How many visits from CPS does it take before parents are just automatically guilty of something.

how manys should the cps visit before someone gets their shit together?

i know if i had a vist from cps and there had been a problem i sure as hell would make sure there was nothing for them to complain about at the second visit if someone isnt capable enough to do that much then you have to wonder about their ability to care for kid

You shouldn't use statistics that come from a poor source and are written in error.

According to CDC there are 30 child deaths related to poisoning PER DAY!!!!!!!! There are 800,000 children brought to E-Rooms PER YEAR for Accidental poisoning.

In 2009, 31,758 (76 percent) of the 41,592 poisoning deaths in the United States were unintentional

http://www.cdc.gov/HomeandRecreationalSafety/Poisoning/poisoning-factsheet.htm

Get the facts.
