On my latest trip to the home depot I stopped by the CFL bulbs to see if they had any on sale.
CFL's seem to be going up in price. I can imagine the govt is starting to phase out CFL's since they contain mercury gas.
Normal base Edison socket LED bulbs are coming down in price and I was wondering if anyone has tried these store bought bulbs.
I know you can build your own but it seems like a hassle. If one gets burned out or broken I want to be able to go to the store and buy a new one come home and screw it in.
I see they have frosted and clear bulbs on-line but was wondering about home center or walmart type bulbs you have used.
