North Alantic Seed Company Question

I read the thread on NASC and the they sound like a great company, What I didnt see covered is what Im asking about. How good are the seeds on their 2 and 5 dollar menus? Aside from Limited Strains, Are they new fresh seeds or are they older seeds that the company needs to get rid of? Anyone Ordered off these menus? If so how well did they germinate and grow? I am looking hard at this company because I like being able to buy Single seeds of multiple strains for a cheap price, I am on a very limited budget and have little to no income but this will let me try out multiple strains without going bankrupt.

Great question. I often wondered about those seeds. I believe its there seeds made from the originals but have been hesitant to try something without posts I can view. NASC is a reputable, reliable company so I have high hopes. :)

I got seeds from them before and none of them germinated I offered to mail them back and pay for shipping! If they would send me another pack and pay for the shipping and they said no! The person emailing back was rude and not helpful.

Going by the other thread about this company, I am gonna guess you caught someone in a bad mood or something, At least I hope so I just Emailed them a couple questions lol

I don’t know about your experience but I have had no problems at all with North Atlantic. I’ve ordered multiple times, every order was correct and on time. Seeds were in breeder packs, germination was 100%. Can’t complain about much.

But have you ordered off the 2 dollar budget menu?

Just bite the bullet already there only $2 seeds lol. If you want to spend a little more I know of another single seed site in the States. Most single seed sellers are European seed banks.

"These packs (individual seeds) are sold outside of breeder packaging in packaging approved by Humboldt Seed Company and/or Blimburn. "

The $2 seeds arent NASC own gear it's either Blimburn or Humboldt Seed Company's genetics. Do you research on those two breeders, North Atlantic Seed company is just the vendor not the breeder. Blimburn is a Spanish bulk seed breeder which some wouldnt recommend, Humboldt Seed Company is similar but they have a better rep from what I read around here.

NASC does a lot of breeding on their own use to be able to buy inhouse seeds last i looked. They use to sell clones also before the seed selling took off.

"North Atlantic Seed Bulk/White Label seeds are sourced across the many breeders we work with."

Sounds like the standard white label bulk seeds from Europe to me. Nothing on their site currently that I can find that suggest they have inhouse strains unless your talking about In House Genetics.

The OP wanted to know about the $2 seed mix which it states that it comes from either HSC or Blimburn. Those seeds are not in house strains from NASC.

When you click seeds it list breeders and has a tab for "In House Genetics". Unless this isnt in house breeding that i dont know.

This is the response I got to my question about the 2 dollar seeds.

"Hi there!
Thanks for reaching out! That's a great question. There's nothing wrong with any of those seeds. We're able to offer those seeds at a discount because we're either able to purchase those seeds from those breeders in bulk and get a discount (which means we're able to sell them for a discount), some of them are phenohunter seeds from breeders, and some of our breeders offer their seeds on our Dollar Treez menu simply because they want to offer an affordable seed option to help get their name out. I hope this helps answer your question! Thank you for supporting our business and have a great day! :)
Best,
NASC Team"

My guess after this is that you caught someone having a really bad day or maybe something in the wording of your email triggered them, dunno man but as you can see they were super nice to me.

This is a friend of mine. He only grabbed 1 seed.
Scrogged it in a 5x5, he filled it wall to wall, corner to corner.
Imo its not a big loss if you spend 2 or 5 dollars on a seed no mattter the outcome. Ive spent a lot more money on a lot dumber stuff.
Just buy the seeds lmfao
I have also spend a LOT more money on a LOT dumber stuff, Like a tattoo of my ex wifes face, but that was also back when I had a lot more money to spend lmao.

My grandma always used to say "If it seems too good to be true, then it usually IS too good to be true", Had that beat into my head growing up and sometimes, when I see something like a 2 dollar cannabis seed when everywhere else is 12+ per seed, I can hear her voice in the back of my head lol. I likely will pick some up,I am just on the fence and wanted to see how many have tried them and how well it worked before I pull the trigger.

I think youll be ok to pull the trigger and survive, no matter which way the bullet flies.

Just a little name/word confusion. "In-House Genetics" (IHG) is a breeder. IHG is sold at tons of different seed banks online.
