North Carolina outdoor 2009

Cool. Thanks a lot!
I am just using bagseed since this is my first grow, but the plants look really good. I am hoping to move them somewhere more hidden.

What a horrible last couple days. I overnuted the Afghan on Saturday. Went out last night to flush it out because the leaf tips were dying. I watered a whole gallon of ph'd water and left it for two days.

Well it rained today really bad so I went out to shake the water off the girls and what to I find? A big pile of brown dead leaves around my Afghan girl and the remaining leaves were looking really bad.

I didn't take a picture of her before I cut her, but it was dissapointing to say the least. I cut her down and hiked back to the house.

It took me two hours to trim all the buds and do some small manicuring but overall it went well. Considering this plant is almost 3 months early it didn't turn out bad. I vaped a small fresh bud and boy what a mind numbing head high.

I have no idea what wet weight is but it will definately hold me over till time to cut all the rest (Sept. 15th).

Here is a pic from about 2 days ago, and the rest are the buds. I'm trying to hurry up and eat the rest of my pickles, before the dry is done. These things have such a lemony smell, its undescribable.

All things considered I am happy.

I wish it would keep up this rain through October. I'm leaving for RI in a week or two, for a couple weeks, and I'm going to have my dad keep an eye on my girls. I was planning on putting them in the ground soon, but now I think I'll wait till I get back to put most of them out.

In the past few days I've transplanted all eleven into new pots, 3-7 gals depending on size, but all of them will have the chance to double their root space while I'm gone. I'm just hoping they can still benefit from these big ass holes if they get there mid-july.

Looking good, WW, sorry about the Afghan. Was it past the point of no return?

1. Senor Kush
2. Hindu Kush (looks a little funny because it was tied down before, now it's trying to grow straight again)
3. ? the runt of the group.

the rest of are my balcony plants, which are doing pretty good seeing that I saved the small ones life after being left in a dark closet for 3 days. the larger one is getting over being overfed and will be moved out to the woods soon, but first i decided to LST it a bit so it will thicken up nicely.

Angus - it was bad. Probably like 3/4 of the leaves had either died or were brown. I was afraid to lose what little bit was there. Rookie mistake I guess. It won't happen again.

They look pretty good sub...the balcony looks like an uber good place to stone at. i have been keeping up with this thread cause it is the only one near where i live. im not in NC. but am an hour away from asheville and boone which rocks. headies flow here constantly from both areas. i m up in a mountain right between both cities. i have grown several times indoor and first time outdoor last year. had good results indoor and out of 15 plants outdoor last year ended up with one.lol. outdoor is tedious, stressful, work sometimes. bugs, pests, copters, nieghbors, etc. this year i had seven so far. and ended up with one. bugs. but my only one left just got killed to day from a f'n tornadoish wind, rainstorm, the rain has been horrible. i went to it and climbed like ten downed trees to find it completely gone, vanished. so hmmm...who knows...got two more vegging and out of seeds....all in all im just frustrated.

here are some pics from last year outdoor. bagseed.

My biggest plant is my only vortex. She's almost four foot tall, untopped and lanky. From her structure I was worried she would be a male, but I just sexed her and my two biggest, bushiest JTRs as females. So far their the only ones to show sex. I'm super stoked.

As far as that little bit lasting me. I use a vape at night and an eighth last me about two weeks. I only use to help with my insomnia, so getting super retarded high is not a priority. I use a little and relax and go to sleep.

Angus, congrats on the girls. Ýou gonna clone at all?

Must be nice to not need much medicine... Sometimes I wish I didn't, but am I really that bad I take 2 - 3 grams a day at most.

I have some friends that use around a half ounce daily. Which is rediculous. The key I have found is your method of intake. It is nice though not to go broke medicating. Its funny that all the sleeping meds didn't work but smoking does.

Yeah its really enjoyable when you realize that cannabis can cure quite a few ailments that our species have. But than it pisses you off again when you realize that the system is still trying to undermine state laws and messing with patients/caregivers rights.

NC Triangle here, good to find some fellow NC people here. I would say check out my grow but I still need to post some pictures that finally do it justice. I have been patient enough but the temps getting so hot and not having great ventilation is not helping matters. Some nice pics on here guys.

those look super droopy man..ouch
they should perk up. one of them was growing sideways on the deck, so i propped it up with a stick once it was in the ground. once it gets some sun it'll be all good. the kush (darkest one) is looking a bit rough as well, im sure i overferted a bit and the pH is being a bitch. can't be happier with the one in the first pic, i topped it again last time i was out. can't wait to see how bushy it'll get.
