im not exactly sure how long its been growing, since june i assume. i saw it and just let it do its own thing. This is the first plant that ive actually seen pretty much the whole grow process. didnt worry about it till it turned out to be female, its not in direct sunlight for more than a few hours a day. i think thats why its taking so long to finish up., i had it tied down a little bit to try and get more sun, i tied it in the direction it was growing anyways. in the begining i was plucking off any leaves that didnt look great.(was told to do so by a friend who obviously doesnt know what the leaves are for) then i found this forum and realized thats a nono. been watering it with water from the koi pond that its next to, not too regularly because weve been getting random rain too. im assuming i need a couple of more weeks at the least for the buds to be ready. but tomorrow night its supposed to get down to 30 degrees, so im going to cover it for the night. its supposed to get back into the 70's saturday so i only have to cover it for a night. any kind of advice is appriciated

im not going to be out there all night, and its a very small fireplace, my mom was burning in it a few days ago i got pretty pissed off because it puts off a lot of heat, and i dont want to shock the plant or anything, its only supposed to freeze for one night. i think if i get it pretty covered up, it should be ok, i hope. its not like ive done a lot of work, pretty much just let it grow and do its own thing. its just so far a long now that id be pretty upset if the buds didnt finish growing. this plant has been through some shit, in september my mom threw a towel over it(like directly on the plant) so the lady nextdoor couldnt see it, i pulled it off, when i came back out it was back on there so i pulled it off again, i think it was covered for almost a whole day, then in october we had a party out there and she hanged a sheet up right in front of it that was blowing on it and brushing up against it for 2 days, i was pretty pissed about that too, when we took the sheet down the plant was almost sideways on the ground, i almost said fuckit and just pulled it up. it looked horrable but recovered pretty quickly, now its supposed to freeze for one night. i feel like if it makes it through this freeze ill be on the home stretch. anybody with any advice would be greatly appreciated, and definatly considered

a couple sheets or blankets i guess, what should i use?
i was kinda thinking about a sheet maybe, mine are in pots and could be moved but mrs sunnyboy is there taking care of them and i don't want her to have to pick them up (she has a bad back) idk how low it will be cold, i think only a few hours right? they can withstand a lot. mine are in like the 4th week of flower and looking good so i don't want anything to happen to them. i think if she wraps a blanket around the pots they should be ok. good luck :peace:

not to mention the fact its growning in pretty much sand, i think there might be a foot of topsoil under the rocks, then its straight sand, not sure if the water from the koi pond has any affect on the plant, but its growing so...

Looking good. I've had some regs that turn out just like that one with the three leaf pattern. That one looks like an old(genetically) sativa.

Is that a door or is that a window??!?!

Hi...nice plant

Think about putting a couple of large "boulders" in your rock garden oldson, perhaps a couple of large, but lightweight, lava rock boulders. The rocks will absorb heat during the day, and release it as the night temperatures get colder. Even a 6 gallon container of water, allowed to absorb the heat of the sun during the day, will radiate enough heat to protect that small area. Put the jug right next to the plant, though, as close as possible. Or if it is going to be really COLD, fill the jug will very hot water, and place it out in the garden at around 4 am, just before any frost would form.

Good Luck

well, it rained last night, when i got up and went outside this morning one of the lower buds was on the ground, it was actually the one i took a picture of and the one i thought looked the best so far, im not sure if it was from the rain, or the bud getting too fat for the branch, so i tied it up so that its off the ground, and i also tied the one next to it so it wasnt covered completly by the first one, ill post a couple pics in a little while
