Northern lights & Afgahn & bagseed grow journal!

Ok, so for this setup im using a trusty bedside cabinet.it has one outtake fan n one fan blowing across
the plants attatched to the end of the 125w cfl (see pics)

Lighting: 125w 6400K cfl
34w 6400K cfl
24w 6400k cfl

Temps hover between 25/30'c

humidity between 30-50%

Nutes: "Bio Bizz Grow" 1.5ml /500ml water every watering (approximatley every two days)

i think this should be ok for vegging the three plants? (ill dispose of bagseed if necassary) but when it comes to
flowering ill only be able to use 2x2700K 24w cfl and the 125w 6400k cfl. I would like a 125w 2700k but funds wont
allow at the moment. you guys think this will be a major drawback?

im using northern lights cos ive grown it before with great success...lovely indoor plant!
Afgahn cos i scored a few free seeds, and the bagseed i threw in a pot on my windowsill n left it a week,
came back to what looks like a decent plant so figured id keep her (hopefully)

I germinated the NL in a cup of water then planted up, the afgahn i planted in the soil to germinate,
just to see if ther was any considerable time difference. The N.L was above the ground a few days before
and is miles ahead in terms of growth...

Ive started LST on the bagseed...first time ive done it so using the bagseed as a test! Works well...after a few hours of
being tied down the leaves hav rotated and stem straightened out again!

so, what do you guys or gals think so far?

any pointers much appreciated :D!

P.S in pictures-
smallest plant = Afghan (worryingly under developed?)
middle = N.L
largest = Bagseed

how old are they?
i use the biobizz range too, it seems to me like you should be giving them less nutes, the max recommended strength is 8ml to 5litres of water, your dosage would add up to 15ml per 5litres, a bit much i think...
but anyways they look good

it says on the side of my bottle 2-4ml per 1000ml water with every watering... im using 3ml per 1000ml water. No signs of nute burn yet but thanks for advice ill keep a check on it.

the N.l and afghan are about 1 week i think....bagseed around 3 weeks. However that spent its first week on a windowsill.

N yeah ive got another seed in to germinate...freebie from attitude. 3rd dimension. Ill pull the afghan n plant that up!

well..when its flowering if u get up close u can smell it. but u cant smell it when u walk in the room or anything, i hav a simple usb air ionizer in the cabinet and that stops all smells even when up open the door =]

Sweet man. I think with my new hps I may move it to a little outside shed concrete building thing where I have electric and a fridge and freezer. It cold in the UK so will handle the temps perfect and it dry and I may just stick them behind the fridge. Im running out of funds untill I can harvest and sell some of this grow.

theyd be better off in a box of sum sort rather than just behind the fridge...if its more enclosed thers less area to light so its more efficent. But i know ure jus brainstormin atm =P

Monkz, cheers man, jus double check were using the same stuff... mines NPK 8-2-6 'BioBizz Bio-Grow'

I just going to buy on ebay a perfect bit of kit I dont see why most growers dont use in small area. a 3 in 1 unit. Air con, Air purifier, and humidifier. only £40 and thats the same as a small fan and carbon filter would be so this is perfect solves all problems. And had a timer and remote!

Nice buy! Btw...did you ever pinch your easyryder at all? like to make it more bushy? I pinched the bagseed at the 5th node earlier and it already has grown what look like two new pairs of leaves...so like four fan leaves...tis pretty sweet :P

Well it not cfl anymore, it 400w hps I put in before I left an didn't get chance to sample temps. My called yesterday and said mega hot and turned it off. She said I can move it to the outhouse shed thing haha result. Going to line it with flooring uderlay to reflect and make an area behind fridge. Going to do some tomatoes and chilli aswell :) may have to upgrade in 2 grows time! 600w maybe haha what u think I'll yield with my 400w beast now until harvest? With both plants?

Yeah man you will :) from ure pics they dont look small. But i guess if ure watchin em grow every day they dont seem to do much...dont look at em for a full day then you wud b suprised how much they grown wen you do look!

PICTURE UPDATE

Bagseed got two nice new stems growing from where i pinched. Bushing out alot now ive started LST!

Northern lights growin abit taller...leaves developing nice. Looks abit yellow but its jus my shitty camera.

Binned the afghan, got a "3rd dimension" (free seed) in, jus sprouted but not much to look at yet, looks healthy tho!

What does everyone think?

How often do you water? Your soil looks really wet.
