Northern Lights early??

I have Northern Lights from a trusted local breeder of an unknown true origin growing in my first indoor setup. It's my first grow and I'm told by the breeder that it's a 45-55 day flower.

Starting week 6 there was about 20% cloudy trics with very sparse amber, and, about 65% pistil degradation. Sample was consumed today and it was stellar all things aside. Going into week 7 it's about 40% cloudy with noticeable amber here and there, 90% pistil degradation and calyxes are swelling quite noticeably. Recent pics in the post below mixes with some blue cheese. I'll try to post better close up high res shots on tomorrow's light cycle change.

The last nute was last Friday. My normal feed schedule had them dosed with plain pH water three days ago (Tuesday) with the next nute scheduled for tomorrow, Friday. They've already had two weeks of peak and swell nutes. I'm planning on making the decision this weekend to nute or finish with 5 more days of true flushing. If I continue flushing, I'll hit them on their next two waters with x3 pH water before harvesting them early next week. I have three more NLs that I was going to wait off on at least another week and I might do one per week to see how the different samples are after cure. If I do this, I'll post results here.

My question is two fold...

1. What do you all look for in NL Indica strain before you harvest? In terms of physical traits and expected psychoactive results?
2. How many of you have harvested NL strains early with confidence in the strain to reach peak maturity in 7 weeks time?

Thanks for your consideration.

Hi Sheesh420,

nice grow :)

I had NL5 a couple of times ( don't know the difference with NL ),
harvested when the first amber trichs show up ( as usual, I wake and bake and work so no couch lock ),
No problem, enjoy :)

Thanks! I love the couch lock but one of my patients doesn't :)

I don't mind a nice head high which is why I'm thinking these girls are ready for me...

I'd still like to know what others do for NL. Please keep comments coming.

Well I've decided to hold off one more week and I nuted the NLs this afternoon with week 8 nutes. One more week isn't going to hurt them :)

I think the Blueberry Cheesecake will come out at the same time as them. Waters boiling but soups not done yet :(

I'll update on calyx and tric development and new pics later this week.
