looks like your light is making your trichs look amber ..so it's sort of hard to tell ...but my guess would be wait at least 1 and 1/2 to 2 weeks minimum..take your plant into natural light..take a look and see what color your trichs are..more amber means more mature or ripe...you've waited this long ..why not let her finish up as much as possible...my .02..peace

trailerpark,

I'm growing the same, but only 2 weeks along. Mine has a 8 weeks finish recommended too. Where did your seed/clone come from?

mine were from highgrade in canada. thought they might be the same, the grow site that highgrade has shows a number of nl grows. they seem to recommend the 8 week finish real close. it's tough because most grows are going to be a bit different. the biggest problem most 1st time growers seem to have to harvesting too early. that's just what i read, still waiting on my 1st indoor harvest

Well if you have to leave in two weeks then the day before you leave just harvest it. The trichomes still look clear from a distance and will give you a head rush which if your growing northern lights you probably dont want. 2 more weeks and when the plant leaves start to yellow out and white hairs look more amber/brownish then chop that bitch down. Great plants by the way

I'm assuming thats northern lights to. Very nice plant man. I've always liked northern lights. You got so many strains out there but NL always comes through.
