finally some flowering pics. I apologize for the low quality. Just picked up a $13 digi at walmart today. Pretty crappy but still better than the cell phone. One picture each of the top bud sites, and one of both plants, as you can tell the tall plant's leaves are looking a little droopy. Underwaterd I hope? I haven't watered for about a week, and I watered just before I took the pics. The bud site feels very hard and compact to the touch, both pushing down from above and squeezing it gently. Is this signs that I will have nice compact bud???? (fingers crossed). Well, anyway. Guess that's it. Oh, I had a question. Is it too late to fim/top? They seem to be getting pretty tall. The tallest one was 8 in. when I initiated flowering 2 weeks ago. Now it's 18 in. tall. I'm afraid I will have to top or lst. Thanks for the responses.

well, it's been three weeks of 12/12. The buds are coming along very nicely. Maybe pics tommorow. I've been having a little problem, especially with jessica, the smaller plant. You can see it in my post :

Hopefully it will be resolved soon.

I also got (2) 42 watt, 2700K, 2700 lumen cfl's from wally's world today. I put them in and man did the temp raise. I got readings of 98F in there near the tops of the plants. Pretty sure that aint good, considering I don't have any CO2. I opened the door to my grow box and had a box fan right outside blowing in air the whole day while I was gone. Hopefully that helped, it moves quite a bit of air. I am going to see about getting something worked out with that tommorrow.

Fed this morning, one gallon water per plant. Jessica (the sick one in the pics in my problem post) got vinegar to lower the PH to 7.0 plus one ground up aspirin pill. Marylin (the healthier looking one) got just the water vinegar mix. I also picked up a bottle of aquarium PH fixer that's supposed to level out PH to 7.0. I figured that should be good for future uses, especially if i add ferts and stuff to water.

So, hopefully things are looking up, will try and post up some pics tommorow afternoon.

okay, my problem has gotten worse, and I'm pretty sure the PH is not the problem. Although it probably is a problem which I will take care of. I think I'm baking my ladies. After I put in my new 42W cfl's I went out today (unavoidable) and when I got back my baby's looked almost dead. Honestly. i don't even want to post pics cuz I'm ashamed. Well the temp was 98F again. NOT GOOD!!!!. I put the big fan blowing in again about an hour ago and the temp is down to 91F. Not the best, but better. I raised 4 lights which i had lowered to be nearer to the sides and undergrowth. they are up to the level where the lights right above the plants are. I also turned up the fan to "2". Hopefully this will suffice til I can figure out something else.

well, i had asked my GF to open the grow room door this morning and point the box fan in to keep the temps down. Well, I was stupid, she forgot (although I really can't blame her, I forgot alot of the stuff she tells me to do too). When I got home at 6 the temp was 96F, the plants didn't look worse than yesterday, but still lokked pretty nasty. I put the fan on them and in 10 min. the temp had dropped to 91F. It's now at about 85-86, so hopefully it will get a bit better. The small one has fucking thinned out alot!! Most of the leaves died and fell off, it looks so much different. If it gets better I won't have to worry about light penetrating the bottom bud sites eh eh? (sorry, gotta make the best out of a bad situation). Any way, I think if I can have the fan on them while the light are on it will stick to around 85F, which it had been before, so hopefully they will get better.

I've been hypothesizing and I think the smaller one had it so much worse b/c it was so much bushier so that heat got just trapped there. And I think it's been developing more slowly b/c the lack of big fan leaves (almost all are dead and have fallen off, but there are still a few) and the corresponding lack of photsynthesis.

Will update in a couple days, hopefully all will be looking better.
