Not recovering from defoliating?

I defoliate 2 blue dreams 12 days into flower ' and now I'm 3days from defoliating ' I removed the bottom 1/3 and removing small lower branches.

I then water the girls every 3 or 4th day with 2 litre of water/nutes in 11 litre pots in a 2x2 with 350watt draw leds.

I'm thinking' stress from defoliating and a little over watering maybe but the plant on the left is the same and she looks fine?

I also thing I need to feed more nutes because thay do look a little pale?
And ideas on recovery for this plant?

You could probably add some Nitrogen, as far of defoliation I can speak something from experience something from "books"
The thing about all trimming and pruning during life of plant is a stress response that is needed to heal the wound you made.

That said I'm not against defoliation and pruning but I prefer less heavy/moderate cuts than more easy/light cuts.

Because the plant during healing phase is stunned so i think it's better to stun the plant less days, hours or what ever than more...

Just my 2 cents...

How long should it take 2 litre to dry up in a 11 litre pot? She was defoliated on Sunday long with the one next to her and a water srltreight after I stripped her?

Do you think I've over waterd and stressed her? If so how long before she bounces back?
Should I raise the temp's slightly to ' say 27.5c to help dry the media a little?

Also in regards to feedon nutrients , it said on the bottles to feed 5ml of this and 2ml of that and you want a ec of 1.5 and ppm of 1200.

Well when I fill my water sprayer I add 4 litre tap water then leave for 34 hours, then I add my nutes at this dose........
...ionic grow 7ml per litre
Green fuse grow 1ml per litre
Calmag 1ml per litre
Liquid silica 1ml per litre
Superthrive - 3 or 4 drops for a litre

My ppm of my tap water is around 150 /250 ppm and when I add the list of nutrients I get a ppm reading of around 400/500 including my water ppm?

To get a ppm reading in my nutrient water I would have to ad almost double the amount specified on the bottles?

What's happening? I have calibrated all my tools so it's not the pen?

I have only mother plants in soil everything else is soilless. So I can hardly tell, but depending on temps and wind (fans) about 3-6 days.
Don't sweet it 2 much, these plants are robust... that's the reason they call them weed.

Ok, couple things here. EC and ppm are essentially the same thing, just different scales. It's like distance in kilometers and miles; same distance, different units. Except that there's a 500 scale and 700 scale for ppms, and EC has a larger margin for error.

Also, silica must be added in a specific order along with the rest of your nutes, or else you'll have precipitate forming.

Are they getting cold at night? Screens not full so you probably could have defoliated less and spread more. If you want it to bounce back give it a nitrogen combo tea, and raise the temps so they work it through and start to grow again.

Oh No! Those are underfeed and show the need for more or stronger feeding!
They really need across the board nutrition - including a fair amount of N,S,Fe - so micro's are in need also!
I would add some of my standard answer kelp extract too!

What are you feeding?
List everything that goes in!
How much are you feeding and how often (amounts of nutrient and supplement)?

What is the media? (what soil?)

Ph of run off is NOT near the pH of the soil....basically meaningless. (They look fine pH wise!)

First thing is your over-watering ! 1/2 a gallon on just under 3 gallon pots is too much and your going a bit long between watering...6 cups every other day might work .....I might suggest 1 liter everyday at lights on BUT this depends greatly on What nutrient and how much your mixing per gallon.

Lets see what you got and then we can come up with a plan.

Soil-- plagron light mix
Nutrients--ionic veg/bloom at 3.5ml 1/2 recommended dose.
Green fuse grow 1ml per litre
Liquid silica 1ml.per litre per week in veg
Gal mag 1ml per litre ince per week under the led.
I have another plant same strain under cfl and I water her every 3 days 1 litre and she looks fine20161222_171415.jpg
