I been living here about 10 yrs, originaly moved from hawaii, didn't start :joint: till I moved out here, though I did vacation out there one time, lotta fun:mrgreen:

anyways, I still live at home at my ripe old age, everything is cool tho me and my dad are pretty close. hes got (non hodgkins) limphoma hes got back and knee problems too, So I help out around the house and stuff.

got recomended to this site by "Socata" I just been lurking here past couple days reading as much as I can. LOTS of great info.

I'm curious tho about the current laws in Arizona, and about helicopters and the different types of radar they use out here,
and also about the electric bill, and spikes in watt usage and stuff?

:peace: guys!
I have nothing but the utmost respect for you growers out there, you guys are doing god's work.

i'll tell you now if indoors the summer isn't a good time to start for the first time imo...its so hot here that most rooks will cook their plants in the hotest months...the laws here suck not by plant count but by weight....i know they have infra equ but out here its so hot that they cant sink it right....i suggest doing the bulk of the light hours during the night....an depending on size light a 1k will raise the bill about 30-40bucks....peace az

so your saying the heat difference is so extreme outdoors they have problems calibrating the infa red?

I realy just plan on harvesting 2-3 cactuses, in a small 5ft wide by 1.1/2 ft closet, tho I have no Idea how many I wanna grow in the vegative area, just to assure a wortly plant for harvest.

is it possible to use clones from the harvest before or after flushing, what I'm trying to say is ther a way to cut back on watt usage, not having both veg and harv lights going at the same time?

btw what are some good out door plants I can grow in the yard. some thing easy that can survive the climate and grows tall with a lot of folieage something that has a strong odor too. ya know something I can warm up with.

thanks for the link there, GOD DAME! up to 150,000 for a fine, that would bankrupt us!!!
and then that 300 feet from a school BS

ASS BACKWARDS LAW said:
Possession or sale within 300 feet of a school, on any public property within 1000 feet of any school, at any school bus stop or on any bus transporting pupils to or from school adds an additional one year to the sentence and requires a minimum fine of $2,000.

Possession and sale of paraphernalia is punishable by 6 mos - 1.5 years in jail and a fine of up to $150,000
who the hell lives out of 1000ft or 300ft within a school or public place? they might as well start adding if thers a cactus within 8ft of your house an additional blah blah blah.

It's not even the jail time that scares me, its those fines! and even more ridiculous is the possesion of paraphanilia, when they actualy have plenty of head shops out here, does that include home made devices too?

and about a rise in watt use, would that arouse suspicion?
