Not sure about my setup. also getting a little warm

I have a 4x2x4 tent in my large walk in closet. Right now i have 1 150w hps with another one going in later today. I also have (2) 85w cfls that are 5600k and (2) 65w cfls that are 2600k. I have (2) 4" inline fans one pushing in and one pushing out. I just ordered (2) 6" fans to go with it. also have a large oscilating fan blowing air through the front. i have just been keeping the tent open since im currently not at risk of light getting to them when they are off. my biggest problem right now is that im in a closet and its getting hot in there around 85. i have no way to vent my hot air outside. Im going to try and run a duct just outside the room but i dont think it will help much. if i can get the extra inline fans to keep it cooler i will switch lights to being off during the hottest part of the day. I have 2 white widows, 2 kerala skunk and 3 kc45 in the solo cups just to see how they do. I plan on adding 4 more 1 gallon pots in there when my seeds arrive. the current plants just sprouted yesterday. i plan on topping to keep them short. any input would be awesome and greatly appreciated.

when you add one more 150 you will have a perfect amount of flowering wattage. there's a couple a things you could do. number one it would be a lil pricey compared to this it would be just get an air cooled light like a 400w it would be a lot more efficient with more of an even light spread and then your plants could grow closer to the lights. second thing you could do is witch probably would be more practical for you would be to move your small tent to the coolest part of your house. usually closets are a bit warmer with less air flow so maybe by an ac vent . third if u cant move it or upgrade your lights and ventilation. you can get a portable swamp cooler put ice in that baby and that works awesome especially for a grow your size. if u cant afford a small swamp cooler you could just look up diy ac on google things like this...https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=6&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0CFkQtwIwBQ&url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HxSLbpAwibg&ei=bCpgU_P-G8uuyATswYHYCQ&usg=AFQjCNHFZleTta9eGDBe69GOpF6ASS2x_g&bvm=bv.65636070,d.aWw

I hope this helped

I vote for the 400 water myself, plus, I think you got WAY to many plants going on in that small space, you might be able to keep them short, but the spacing will get VERY VERY tight, promoting mold build up, with a closed tent, and warmer temps... mold would be an issue I think... I personally would go with 3 plants in that area, tops... and 2, if it was ALL up to me and it was my grow.

I started with a tent comparable and originally had 6 plants in 3 gal buckets with 600w. LST and topping controlled them. Didn't finish in tent but def could've.

Here's in flowering:

Thank you, all good info i will use to improve. ill definitely keep the number of plants down and maybe after this grow ill go to a 400w hps.

Another option you can consider, get 2x 250watters, running one HPS and one MH, a nice balance of light, it would spread out the heat, and allow you to adjust the lights over the tops of the plants where you need them most. Plus it will give you an extra 100 watts of light over the 400...

so one of my plants which is about 2 inches tall at this point completely fell over almost looks dead. another is starting to lean a little bit. did i overwater or was my light to close or both. i had the light just a few inches from them.

all this light and i dont even see a leaf or two i do this shit in my bathroom next to my toothpaste thats enough light for something that small
your wasting alot of light and light bill money
imo ive learned to not rush it. some wise guy said idk who. not enough light is never the problem.

The problem is I've never flowered with any less than 1kw so...
IMO 300+ watts will produce buds, however I have seen it done with 199 watts CFL.
If the heat goes over 80F you have to find some way to cool it or run co2 until 95-100F. In any event you'll require a certain amount of cooling and ventilation. If the hotspot peaked at 85F in my personal grow I wouldn't worry.

As Use cfls 6500k for vegg as far as temps u b suprised how awesome the bud is grown at a perfect 75 degrees quality.

ive got my ventilation a lot better now. it still sits around 80-85 but i think it should be fine. is the one that fell over just stretching? i propped it up with something but the stem is extremely weak. the other one that fell over looks completely dead now. and unfortunately i dont have the budget for more lights right now. if i can break even after this one i will invest in a 400w hps or 600w hps. thanks for the help
