Not sure if I have a problem. Please let me know what you think

The plant strain is a Jock Horror..similar to Jack Herer. The plant has been in soil for 27 days. I had it in a rockwool cube in a little green house for a week before it went to soil. I have only grown Indica so I am not sure the main differences in the growth of a sativa strain. I know I have plenty of light. I have noticed a slight yellowish tint near the bottom which I am not too concerned about yet. What is bothering me is it's height. Isn't it a little short for a Sativa at 27 days old in soil?:joint:

I went ahead and repotted. It was definately potbond. I'm currently going on 32 days of growth and still I think something is wrong because it is only about 5 inches tall. Have any of you had experience with Sativa strains? Do they tend to grow slower then indica? :joint:

just the opposite, it looks like you have a ph problem that is causing it to be stunted, plus it looks as though its in a small pot, if you were to put it in like say a 5 gallon pot and add a half cup or so of lime then i bet it would take off like you would not believe, also in the new pot use more perlite, plant roots love oxygen, here is a pic of a mango i was growing in coco/perlite in a 1 gallon pot thats just shy of a month, so yeah just flush then put in bigger poit with plenty of perlite and lime and your good to go i cant seem to load the pic, look in my album, all the non flowering plants are almost a month

The pot was small. I did repot into a pot holding more then 3 gallons but probably under 5. It has greened up substantially. Pretty much no yellow is present anymore. I topped it too. The side branches are starting to grow rather nicely. Most likey it was the ph and I think it is also the soil mixture. The soil I used at repot time was fresh from the garden store and quite moist....better the the initial mix. I have tested the PH of this and it falls right at 7 when I test with my little green ph/moisture/light meter. Unfortunately this bag was a premixed(bat guano, eartworm castings, black dirt, perilite) and the perilite is scarse. It is called Happy Frog. I think it would be difficult to start mixing in perlite...unless you know a good way of doing it. Maybe ill poke a few holes in the dirt with a prod and drop some perilite in while the soil is already in the pot and not intertwined with the roots quite yet. The water I always ph balance it with the ph up/down and I always make sure my water is at about 6.2-6.8 I'm wondering if I should go to maybe 5.5 -6 to offset the soil a bit more...what say you?:joint:
