What up guys?! So, I've got some diesel autos going. I know that they will flower under the veg photoperiod. My question is, will I get more yield if I put them under the flowering photoperiod and lights? They look kinda small and funky, but covered in "snow"

I wouldn't put them under the flowering scedule but I would definitely switch the lights to add athe red spectrum depending on what lights you're using to grow with

Ok. I'm using 10 100 watt warm cfls in the flowering tent which is 3x5 and 15 100 watt daylight cfls in a 6x4x6 tent. Only problem is, I've got plants flowering on 12/12 and plants in veg on 18/6. So I'm kinda stuck. Can I just put some warm 2700k lights directly over the autos to get the red spectrum? Oh ya, Of course they r in separate tents.

I'm assuming your autos are in the veg tent right? You should be fine putting some 2700 k lights in there. The first couple of times I grew autos I kept a mix of daylight and 2700k and it worked fine for me. Also check the cfls because a lot of people get equivalent watts and actual watts confused I think the 23 watt cfls are 100 watt equivalent. It will say wattage on the base of the bulb.

they r in the veg tent. Yes, the equivalent to 100w cfl is 23w. Now the 100w signifies output and 23w is usage, correct?

With cfls its pretty much saying that a 23 watt cfl gives out the same light as a 100 watt incandescent so you have to go by the 23 watts. So you have 345 watts for that big of a space people are going to tell you you need more. Your getting about 14 watts per square foot most people recommend atleast 30-50. Anyways you should be fine with just adding a couple more 2700 k lights above the autos.

I'll throw some warm over the autos and add more daylighting in. Thanx again!!! Happy smokin!
