Not wise to post photo?

I noticed no one has a pic of themselves as their avatar. Why is that? Figured I would ask before changing my pic. My grow is legal, so I'm not sure why I wouldn't want to post a photo of me.

A lot of us started growing during prohibition when you really had to watch what you did and posted online. It's also a way for someone to do research and find out who you are in real life. Knowing that, they could set up a rip of your grow. Post whatever you like, just remember RIU doesn't delete posts and what you show and say will be up as long as this forum is.

just because something is legal doesn’t mean we wanna plaster who we are all over on a public forum

I think I get calls for death threats in weekly basis

someone told me today I should curbed stomped for deleting their post

I sure as fuck don’t feel like putting myself out there for a whack job to find me lol

Threats because you deleted a post? That would be hard to take seriously seeing how it's over a post. Anyone with that thin of skin, idk how they are still alive.
