Novice Grow

Attempting my 2nd (more motivated) grow. I dabbled around a year ago with some bag seeds and had no success past the contyledons. After some serious prep and research I've jumped in with both feet this time. Still working pretty generic, commercial soils and ferts but I'm hoping I'll reap some rewards this time around.
Have started to Germ 3 WW sds, (24hrs) 2 have sprouted, 1 runt I'm waiting on. Think I may start 1 more soon. (Rooms allows for 3plants about 4-5ft tall). Going to trans 2 today to 40%Verm/10%Soil/50%Perlite. I've read others have had trouble with jiffy pods and Verm may retain to much H2O for the seedlings. This site has helped answer tons of my grow questions. Great to hear feedback and I'll keep posted on my hopefull sucess.

Indoor, first attempt was outdoor, yet landscape didnt allow for enough sunlight. Decided on daylight CFLs, then goin to white for flowering.

with cfls your gonna want an red/orange spectrum that white spectrum isnt gonna be the right color for flower. look on the packages and get 6500k (daylight as you said) for veg and 2700k for flower.. best of luck to ya brother.

It'll be 4) 5000K 27 wt bulbs for 3 plants, 4 weeks or when the plants are 18-20', I'm going to swap to 4) 2700K 42 wt CFL Soft white for flower. I'm hoping I did my research correct. Should I be cool with my light set? I know I'd be better off if I had gotten a 6500K for Veg but I'm hoping the extra light will make up for it. How long do you recommend leaving my seedlings in humidity dome for? Under what light cycle? I'm planting my germed seeds today. Once they sprout I was going to go for 24 light/ 5days domed, under 1 27wt CFL but now thinking this may cause a burn or dry out.

if it was me, i would use all the bulbs i could get my hands on, and mix them up, more bulbs more bud, seed's in a humidity dome? why? and you will not burn them with cfl's

Following some recommendations. Going to take them out of high humidity once they sprout out of soil. I was happy to find this afternoon that my runt had sucessfully germinated. Onto phase two, I have a feeling that I will be needing addition lights later on. Luckily I have the means to do so. I've heard mixed reviews regarding mixed lighting temps. Ppl have grown thru Veg & flower stage with 2700K throughout, mixing light temps wont cause stress to my girls? (Forgot to mentioned, using Feminized seeds), And is mixed lighting recommended more for the flowering stage/veg, or both?
